All the sentences (specifically all the questions) are feminine; a woman is being asked. It was a serious flaw on part of her not to specify this. Imagine asking a scary looking Pathan gentleman at a Karachi marketplace "Kya aap dawa khaengi?"
i love urdu and pakistan

thanx
that is really helpful
but it will b more effective if u could explain the helping verbs and the verb tense
like when u said:
"Pakistan main mausam kesa tha"
when i read the eng statement i was expecting the following:
"Pakistan main mausam kesa hay"
so what is the different between both of them?
ayahiroto 2 years ago
@ayahiroto
the differnece is that "tha" is used for the past and "hay" is used for the present
hope that helped

kya aap dawa kahingi translates to are "you going to eat medicine".
It does NOT mean "would you like to eat medicine".
Already i noticed any of these translations have serious flaws...

I was really happy with this till I seen what you said! Could you tell me where to learn urdu the RIGHT way??? thanks
cherokiimslm 2 years ago
The right way to say would you like to eat medicine is "kya aap Ku dawayi khana hai"
PakistaniShaheen 2 years ago
۔۔۔۔۔ ابے او عقل بند انسان۔۔۔ اسكا مطلب ہے ۔۔۔ كیا آپ دوا كھانے جارہیں ہیں ۔۔ " یہ جانے والا جارہیں نہین ہوگا " ۔۔۔۔ اسكا مطلب یوں كہ ۔۔۔ میں دوا كھانے لگا ہوں ۔۔۔۔ كاں سے پڑھا ہے بیٹا آپنے ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔
