Well I got my kickbox / roland kd-8 today, it wasn't cheap but it is so nice, nothing beats feeling your real pedal and actual rebound. It costed around 230 total (2 year warranty on kick pad) but I think it is worth it :)

the only ones in that pack at the moment i cannot beat are the 2 or 3 with blasts beat sections longer then like 10 seconds... fuck rock band timing... i play real drums for christs sake, it just refuses to register

Go to game stop and get the RB2 bass and it comes with a spliter it'sabout 20 bucks but well worth it!

I'd score duel once I get my double bass working... I have a headphone splitter, but I need like the special adapter thing for it because the HPS has the problem of not functioning when one pedal is already down.

cheapest way to do so is practice pad that fits a double bass and a trigger (look it up I don't know the specifics to be honest.. :P ) but I just ordered the kickbox and getting a roland kd-8 kick pad tomorrow at guitar center. I use DW5000A double kicks, the kd8 setup is sick as fuck and is the best possible setup out there, but costs around $200 for someone with a double pedal, and a lot more for non-drummers
