i have a question if u take ur turtle outside when its sunny enough and have a small tub for him to get in when he feel ready, is it bad for him to go from one tank to the tub outside?? i mean like u know how u have to have the same temp in another tank for a fish if ur cleaning out his tank is it almost the same with a turtle..?? and no i dont have a turtule yet since obviously i still dont know something about them :]

it's safe as long as the temperature is about the same. but a small tub out in the sun will heat up fast, so it's best to keep it in the shade and have the basking spot in the sun. that way they can regulate their body temperature
