I don't get the pettyness of American atheists, crossing out the word "God" on their money. Here in the UK, one whole side of the £10 note (bill) has Charles Darwin on it, but you never hear British Christians complaining.

I've always used a black sharpie for secularizing. On your advice, I tried a silver one. You are right. Silver is better.

I wouldn't call it "defacing." That implies that it's harmful to the money and illegal. Just marking out IGWT isn't either one. I like "secularization" as a term, but two I've always used are "cleansing" or "de-goddifying."

Good call on bringing a dark beer into it. I wish the original Michelob was still available. It was the best Michelob, imho.

I use whatever writing utensil is readily available. But atheist savior is absolutely correct... the silver sharpie works wonderfully!
