Look. I love Rise Against. Amazing. When I heard Jake's version of this song I was so impressed by how he really captured the raw emotion of this song. The arrangement is lovely and it impacted me just the same as the hard rock original version of the song, It's very disappointing to see all of the hate being expressed in the comments. Jake did wonderfully and I find myself having this version on my mind more than the original. It's wonderful.

I am open to the music; if I wasn't, my comment would be like 'this sucks, you suck.' like others have written... I actually like their voice and style, I just don't think it is suited for this particular song. I think you have to be more open to constructive feedback rather than attacking it.

@MindfreakCM in all fairness to them, this was on the internet before the release of the actual album (and thus the lyrics booklet) so lyrics were still somewhat uncertain. i wouldn't have said they got "soooo many" wrong really. it was a pretty damn good attempt considering there wasn't a 100% level of certainty at the time of recording.

Rise Against sings with not, just anger but a fiery spirit that breathes poetry. The sadness that Rise Against has is being turned into fuel for that fiery spirit while this song is being sung by these two from the initial feeling without the "rage" and "anger".
