YO... just offering a comment about this show. I was in the building that night and saw the entire competition, and these guys brought some very intricate, very intense choreography. Their show was probably 90% stepping, which is VERY hard to do. I definitely tip my Kap. With that said, I think the repetition factor hurt these guys. To a crowd who may watch stepping but don't actually step themselves, a lot of the best moves in here were buried amid phrases that were used too often.

I have been to step shows in CA, OK, TX, KS, GA, AR, TN and Maybe somewhere else I forgot and I can say Sigmas put on a good STEP SHOW and often are judged poorly. Queues get undue HYPE for hopping not really that complex, Kappas limit themselves with the canes and Alphas GOING TO TRAIN!

At the end of the day were all goin to end up doing similar shit anyways. I hate sensitive greeks. Just go out there and step. You cant even go by who wins these days because Judges have become Fans instead of judges. I dont think Alphas deserved the win with a show that they have done all over the place from down south to the northeast. Alphas are a sharp org when it comes to stepping but im sure some of us want to see a show with out the same old train. The complexity of this show is 1st place

sigmas are definitely the best pure steppers overall. other orgs are good with props and effects in some shows but when it comes down to raw steppin, Sigmas got it hands down judging from the many step shows i've been to in the past few years

To jahlov01 <-- the originators of stepping is Phi Beta Sigma, in the 1950's they introduced cains that you see kappas use and they began stepping as a tradition in NPHC and it has spread world wide...know your history before saying some1 bit off of someone else.

Good Shit Sigmas.. Ive stepped against this team in Kutztown, PA at an exhibition and they def had great energy. The use of the arms is key and I think this was a 1st place show.

As a Sigma Brother, that was a good show, but this is what happens when we get to technical with our stepping. We put the crowd to sleep. There's no doubt, Sigma by far has the best steps, creativity, and wide range of steps.

By the same token, sometimes we try to hard to prove we can be more intricate then the next. This is an example of an extremely complex stepping that just bores you cause every step looks the same. Bros. nothing wrong with dumbing down a couple of steps and transitions

The show was well done, but the one thing I hate is when people make excuses. There was all greeks in the building not just Ques and Deltas. One thing the bruhz had that the Sigma show Lacked was that one wow factor addition. Other than that it was a good show. I want to see the intro movie b/c i couldn't see it where I was standing and I heard it was Crazy. And in responce to VSkuad, Its easy for the Sigmas to outstep the Ques, b/c we dont step... Frat, I'm from Ct, and I must say yall have some of the toughest steps I've seen. There is one thing you guys are lacking. You have no steps that draw in the crowd. I've been steppin in shows for five years. ONce yall put together a step where u get crowd involved cant nobody mess with yall. All yall need is a good house beat.
