@Cookies205 Ok obviously you have never served in the military because if you have you would know of this thing called "opsec" or operations security. The navy gave away this bit of information to boosts recruitment. All the enemy need is a that "little bit" of information to develop a plan or rappel borders in assaults like this. Any other observations slick??!!
@dwiseus right... the first model of the SDV originated in 1975. And unless your sarcastic, wise guy attitude spotted anything more special, that was TOO SECRET to share, I am curious what your screaming OPSEC for. What, re-breathers now are a secret? All of this is "info" is easily accessible with a little tool called google or the ability to read. And yea I am perfectly aware of OPSEC, I just didn't want to sound like some loser poser since I haven't enlisted yet, "slick".
@Cookies205 I spoke nothing of the "SDV" and its origin. If somebody wants to know something about the "SDV" they can definitely pull it up on google. Now back to a little acronym known as "OPSEC," if the "SDV" wasn't so vividly clear in how S.E.A.L.S use it in operation then to the civilian sector or "terrorist" all it is is just a "mini sub" that divers use when doing salvage work or even an attraction at a vacation resort. The fact that you can pull up any of this on google compromises....
@dwiseus You ready for it??? "OPSEC" So obviously you are not fully aware of the what the acronym means that I'm "screaming" out. And anything that is shared about how our military combat operations are conducted is "TOO SECRET" men and women are deployed around around the world to conduct exactly what you see in these videos so why would you even want to give a hint to foreign adversaries what it is exactly we do? Are you done trying to establish a point or do you need some more?
@bigskyfly1 It doesn't matter if its public knowledge, the military takes these risks in order to boost recruitment numbers. Terrorists watch television also, and all they need is a little bit of info to operate and plan their cowardly acts, And that little bit of info was shown in the aforementioned video. So spend some tie down range before you respond to something like this.
FUCK YEAH MERICA. Btw yeah we can its not that comlicated we have like ten of thoes squadrents (15 ships and 4 submarines plus an aircraft carier) the one in this movie was small but also we have countless other little platoons without aircraft carriers
A shame the CIA, FBI, and DoD under Clinton and Bush Sr. couldn't actually pull that off that little fictional demonstration against al-Qaeda and al-Jihad, would have been a very different world today.
Sea Cadets is way more then just the special forces, if your even thinking of joining the navy or marines, even the army, or military in general, I highly recommend it, From pilot to cook, from jag to Master at arms(Navy Cops), the sea cadet program gives you a taste of what military life is, without joining, also college and the military academies love sea cadets, they are all basically trained, especially after 3 years in the program, recruiters will love you, and you'll know a lot of military
after reading these comments,i believe people shouldnt compare games to the real thing. games are for your ENTERTAINMENT. not for you to believe think its real.SOCOM starting from the original was quite inaccurate along w/ the tactics and compared to the tech we have today but it was made back then when they didn't have the eadvance tech we have today. If you want to have some sort of feeling of how the rush feels,do stuff through Sea Cadets like what im doing or ESE and stop playing silly games.
@guitarhamster102 -19 terrorists killed almost 3,000 innocent Americans on 9/11 and caused billions of dollars worth of damage by destroying two of the biggest buildings on the planet, the Pentagon, and not to mention four 747's, which cost about 200 million each. You're right, its definitely not worth it to kill them
@guitarhamster102 It's not really the people that were the main target probably, maybe that "little shack" had technology and info that needed to be destroyed.
Really shows you, The navy seals are the best, the us navy makes them the best, really the reason why are military is so strong is all the logistics, its not just one team doing one mission, its over 200 involved, teamwork really matters here
well dumbass thats becuz on socom u only have a thousand lives, in real life u only got one seals cant just run up guns blastin, they're almost always heavily outnumbered and have to be stealthy and deadly when necessary!
@Thehunter429 SOCOM is fun, but the tactics used on there are nothing like real life, I know a couple SEALs, thanks to sea cadets, I have been in live fire drills, and squad tactics, really its way Faster, way more exhausting, and a lot scarier then anything you can get. Really basic rule of battle. I'm Up, he sees me, I'm down, Check corners every time, watch your field of fire, and slow is smooth, smooth is fast, SO GO SLOW, thats sea cadets, so really thats 10% of the real thing.
@hoboandwedgiestudio1 I was a sea cadet for 6 years, twin cities squadron, mn one of the best units in the nation I went to special warfare orientation (special boats) we trained with the guys doing the seal, we did everything together, except when they went to get their scuba, we got our boat, 3 days then back together I was accepted to JSOC but did not go, due to an injury, I know a lot about it and a lot of guys who went, I never went to EOD I went to Amphib op, both very hard any other ques?

If SEALS are operating under USSOCOM they will utilize all assets. This video is not about NAVY has this and that, it's about teamwork and coordination. The only error that i noticed in this video is launching an alert 30 aircraft and not alert 15 or 5..... :-)
You have got to be kidding me!! Terrorists watch youtube also guys come on!! This gave away way too much.
dwiseus 1 week ago
@dwiseus right..... so what exactly did this "give away" that wasn't already public knowledge?
And do you really think that the Navy would make some serious mistake like that on one of their of their official recruitment channels?....
