I pay $79.00 a month for this internet service only because broadband isn't all available in my area. I've never been so disappointed with any service in my entire life as I am with Wild Blue. The FRAP notices are a complete rip off. Wild Blue still get their money but the customers get a 70% drop in service for 30 days when the threshold amount is reached. The service should be unlimited for $79.00 a month!
@brettkramer If you receive cell phone service were you're at, try one of their broadband modems. or a smart phone as a wi-fi hot spot. If you dont get cell phone service there is not many options besides other satellite providers.
As a DirecTV technician who made the mistake of signing on to wildblue installation, I can tell you first handedly that this is the only thing these dishes are good for. Target practice! You would honestly be better off with dial up, no joke.
Fuck WildBlue! Is HughesNet. any better than this Piece Of Shit?

Ok, so we are to gather that Wild Blue service is terrible and should be avoided...
What then is a better solution if you're living off of the grid?

@Glassman789 Yep, found that out the hard way. But when you live off the grid, at the time, wild blue was one of the only options.

Did you go to a vocational school to learn that?

@brewer253 No, it's an easy mod that works with all electronic devices that are lacking proformance or are poor quality.
