There were very heavy bad periods on and off from 1974 to 1977 after Elvis' official divorce with Priscilla in late 1973 in his life that never happened before. It really showed that the divorce hit him with the reality that both Priscilla and him were never going to be back together close again. And in reality of Elvis's life nothing would ever be the same for Elvis after 1973. Elvis really started dying inside when his Mother died. Not when he split with Priscilla.
