Sorry to be such a dick. I live by the girl and so what she told me is a bit different than the media release you have attached to the video. Once I clicked on it and read the report I could see why you made the story the way you did. The differences in the report and what she told me was the distance she ran (closer to 2 miles than to 1 mile), the reason she ran with it on her arm (it wouldn't get off her). Anyway, that stuff is insignificant. But I do feel bad for being a jerk. Sorry man.
@FHSTVAshes Just to let you know they cannot test any animal for rabies unless it is dead it can only be truly diagnosed by testing the brain tissue. So it was euthanized before testing. I am a vet tech and we go through this all the time with people getting involved with wildlife, accidental or not.
idiot!! to test positive for rabies u have to get a brain sample thus already killing the animal. that story is jacked up!!
