Actually Planet Rock was a combination of two other Kraftwerk songs. 1. Numbers (beat( 2. Trans Europe Express (melody)

if you look at the Rock 12" or LP, the credits are the Kraft kids . Bambaataa and the Soul Sonic Force didn't even get writing credits for Planet Rock.

They actually mixed a bit of Trance Europe Express in, as well as the heavy "Numbers" jacked sounds.

Afrika was quoted in a zine as saying "Some weird robot electric shit" commenting on Kraftwerk, probably a before Rock hit. Then after rock, you then had Planet Patrol follow with "Play At Your Own Risk". Another Numbers clone!

I love kraftwerk and the inspiration they left for people. I don't think alot of these genres that are hot today, techno, drum & bass, or even hip-hop would exist if it wasnt for them.
