@Fxpill : Kadri is a dirty little prick... watch him closely... every single hit he makes it's when the guy isn't looking or Kadri comes out of nowhere. Seriously watch him, slimy little prick.

Congratulation to Team Russia ! I am a Canadian ! They beat us Canadians 5 to 3 when Team Russia scored five unanswered goals in the the third period of the gold medal final of the 2011 Junior Hockey Championship !
I wish we had eberle and hall back for this world juniors, we would be unstopable, and we would win by a margin of at least 7 goals per game. GO CANADA GO bring home the gold on US soil, and then win it in Alberta in 2012.
this was an amazing game for both teams ... canada's comeback in the third down by 2 goals was amazing ... it's too bad we lost in overtime ... time to win another gold in buffalo newyork lets go team canada!!!!
i dont care that we lost i love canada and we had that much of a come back we always win so w.e sick game cant wait for next year garantee more canada fans then american haha
@gymguy25 haha, I know it's like the year of 2010 was the year of Overtimes, and Droughts being broken, and also a coincidence is that San Francisco (MLB), Chicago (NHL), and New Orleans (NFL) all had droughts and they won a championship in each of their leagues.
@kwick818 Yes yes I know, all I can say is, this means the USA's future is brighter than Canads's. You may have beaten us in the olmypics, but regardless , USA and Canada are both amazing teams.
All i can say is over 51% of all NHL players are made up of Canadian players! And countries from around the world are calling over Canadian coaches,to help them be more competitive...'' Facts speak for themselves! '' Go Canada!
@FrozenExplorer you have to remember that the majority of canada's great players are tied up in the NHL playoffs during the World Championships....the better judge would be of the Olympics....which pre 1998 arent great either as most of Canada's players again were in the NHL which ment they couldnt play in the Olympics before 2010...but yea there is no way to really judge it based on history.
"Imagine if Stamkos, Tavares, Duchene, Myers, Hodgson, DelZotto and company were playing for Canada instead of tearing it up in the NHL. Prediction Canada 7, USA 0"
This goes for every other championship as well
As an Oiler fan, I like Eberle...for what he's done so far..
But you're right. He still has to prove himself.
Same with Hall.
Dont think the US has all the grinders.. Mike Richards.. Brendan Morrow.... Iggy is tough too
@DarkLordZahanph I know a fair amount of both the American and Canadian players (not personally, but I played on team USA's u15 team, and we played at the same rink in Ann Arbor, and played in tourneys with the Canadian players) and the Canadian players all blew my mind in how talented and skilled they were. Likewise, the Americans generally had more grit and grind to the game.
Don;t get me wrong, Team Canada will likely always be the most skilled team, but the most rounded out will be us
@hockeymatt1994 I know what you're saying... You're saying the US is more rounded out with skill, size, and grit.
I agree that the US is rounded out. But more than Canada? I dont think so. More than 65-70% (not sure exact numbers but somewhere in the ball park) of NHL players are Canadian.. A great variety to choose from..
I'm saying that it's a biased point of view from your part. Iginla can score and grind..Kessler can too. But who is better? Iggy imo
@DarkLordZahanph Okay, I am canadian (at least, I was born there), you are canadian (probably). You like team Canada, I like team USA. There isnt any "bias", we are having a discussion.
If youre saying Iggy is better than Kesler, I'd agree with you. But he isnt a better grinder. Hes a better scorer, and he is responsible defensively, but Kesler is a better grinder.
@DarkLordZahanph Okay, most of the Canadians in the NHL form what many coaches call "fluff". They arent any better than euro players or american players, but they are usually cheaper, more readily available, and know the NHL better.
The reason most american players are outweighed by canadian players is because canadians are also willing to sit around on free agent lists, or extra player slots, while america pushes more toward ncaa, and other careers after graduation
@emmaroseroberts0210 Uhh, Carlson?! Scored the WINNING goal in this game, and then in the NHL playoffs scored a clutch goal with <1 min left to tie up the game....
And did I mention he plays defense? He is by far a bigger clutch player than Eberle
@hockeymatt1994 let me just say, Russia to tie, Russia to win, USA to tie, and as the extra man out, first chance he gets with the men in the world. he gives u 4 points.
@emmaroseroberts0210 Wow, and all those goals he scored, led him to.... SILVER!!!! Carlson scored an NHL playoffs (which is much more important than world jrs) goal to tie the game, and scored as a defenseman, meaning he went above what he needed to do, and scored to tie up the game.
And I think the GOLD MEDAL hanging around his neck speaks for itself
@hockeymatt1994 for a guy picked 22nd overall, eberle has proven more than anyone would ever expect from him. 1 goal for a d is not that impressive. especially when that team lost to the Canadiens. did i mention Eberle got 2 GOLDS, then that 1 silver. and who got the world jr. MVP in the tournament that US won gold in? i think his name was Eberle. Oh, and add in the best forward, and all-star team of the tourney. so iI think the 2 gold and the SILVER hangin around Eberle's neck speaks for itself
@emmaroseroberts0210 Look up Patric Hornquist (I dont really know how to spell it, but he plays for Nashville), Pavel Datsyuk, or Henrik Zetterberg, and that 22nd overall will be much less impressive.
And look at Patrick Kane, scored a goal with <15 seconds left to propel his team into OT, and into the second round, then scored the OT Stanley Cup winning goal
@hockeymatt1994 dude, kaner was picked 1st overall, that is what he should be doing. And ya, Hornqvist WJ and Wc stats are way crappier than Eberle's if that is what you are trying to show me. so are Zetterberg's and Datsyuk's. It took all of them 3 yrs after their draft to make the team. And not to mention, Eberle scored a goal with 5.4secs left to tie the game with the russians, and scored another in the SO to move on to the finals, then the gold in 09.
@emmaroseroberts0210 So Crosby, Ovi, Stamkos, Kovalchuk, etc, have all been that clutch? Epic NO!
Okay, Datsyuk went 5th round, Z-berg and Hornquist went 7th. And Hornquist led the NHL in PP goals, and Z-berg and Datsyuk create one of the highest post-lockout scoring tandems
World Jr stats mean NOTHING. Canada beat Latvia like 16-0. You think anybody really cares who got those goals? No, they dont give a rats ass. And you cant be clutch w/out winning. It doesnt matter if he scored, they lost
@hockeymatt1994 Crosby = GWG against the whoooooooooooooo in the Van 2010, US. Ovi and Stam scores enough goals to show people y they got picked 1st. And Kovy just signed a big contract, and i dont really care bout him. and Eberel has not played in the NHL yet, but we wil c how he and Hall will do. i can c some magic ahead. So Eberle's 2 GOLD hanging round his neck don't count as win, okay. gotya. And for the record, the only game Canadians watch is when Can is playing Rus, Us, or Swed
@tidler31 I know man, I cant believe Russia showed up for only one period and won. Dont worry next year Canada will be the heavy favorites to win again.
@PitsPenguins87 i dont like thinking about the next period... btw was there i world jrs this year i dont recall on u just remeber the leafs blowing a 3 goal lead
haha this USA kid was making fun of me saying "you guys are so bad!! all you can do is win Gold, ur not good enough to win silver and bronze". haha the way I see it is Gold=win, Silver=lose, Bronze=even worse, Rest doesnt qualify
Watch how in the opening of the video Ellis chips the puck around the boards, and Eberle takes it off the boards and passes it straight to Taylor Hall's stick. It's little things like that that make him badass. He always does the right thing and he's always in the perfect position.
And i will give the americans credit for this. Dunno who it was but #2 walking up to the goalie at 0:33 - love that. give a little pep talk after a tough goal. true teammate

@PitsPenguins87 The Pens have only won 1 Cup since 1992, and that was because the Wings team I know, didn't show up in game 7 !!!!!

Welcome to the Jordan Eberle show. He fails not only to get gold, but also plays for the last place NHL team.
But he scored a goal!!!!! WOW!!!!
Canadians are stupid
hockeymatt1994 1 year ago
haha this USA kid was making fun of me saying "you guys are so bad!! all you can do is win Gold, ur not good enough to win silver and bronze". haha the way I see it is Gold=win, Silver=lose, Bronze=even worse, Rest doesnt qualify
TheBuckingFuffalo 1 year ago
Watch how in the opening of the video Ellis chips the puck around the boards, and Eberle takes it off the boards and passes it straight to Taylor Hall's stick. It's little things like that that make him badass. He always does the right thing and he's always in the perfect position.

I can't stand pierre mcguire.
And i will give the americans credit for this. Dunno who it was but #2 walking up to the goalie at 0:33 - love that. give a little pep talk after a tough goal. true teammate
