This Ipod is not anywhere close to being good as the Ipod touch, but I have to say, they would make a great Ipod for people working out. What would you rather have bouncing around if your pocket while running, an Ipod shuffel 3 gen or an Ipod touch? And how you don't need to hold it to use it is cool.

the 1st generation is big the second one is good but the 3rd generation is hot. It has a stainless steal clip very sexy a simple sleek design and new headphones that takes the pain of actually taking ur ipod and searching stuff. I like this ipod the most.

I really dislike how the host guy said, "We know you like to use your own ear phones. Well, there will be plenty of third-party options." He seems awfully optimistic. There aren't any yet, since the thing just came out. That seems like a major point to just brush off, "Eh, don't worry about it. I'm sure someone will address it." It seems like technology reviews are all about cheerleading, especially when it's Apple. Annoying. I'd like a real review from time to time.

I wouldn't call the second generation huge. I still think it looks cooler than the new Shuffle. The new Shuffle looks like a USB stick or something. I always use Apple's ear buds, but that really seems like a deal breaker. If you lose the headphones or they are damaged, the Shuffle is useless until you can order new ones. And we know how much Apple charges for accessories.
