My international union ufcw worked against us, blocking strike vote after strike vote, working with the company against us for politics, progressivism, globalism and the company itself. I wish none of your family members ever find themselves in a nursing home that would rather make a profit than to actually provide the services they sell to their customers (the sick and the elderly). What's the resident to nursing assistant ratio in the facility I work in? 13 residents to 1 nursing assistant. Some of you can barely handle to care for 1 or 2 other people at a time. Will SEIU provide the change we need? Let's hope so.
