  • Remember when people were thin?

  • pure rock n' roll. nothing better...

  • Heheh, I still find myself holding my breath through most of this. Just brilliant.

  • Sloppy, off-key, improvised, over-modulated, out of tune, and absolutely fantastic. Why can't concerts be this fun and energetic anymore?

  • @RickSeraf "TOASTBEARDS"

  • @RickSeraf What were you listening to? That was tight!

  • It's easy to forget how much energy this song projects. They certainly were a powerful group. Thanks very much for posting this.

  • His voice is in top form here. Amazing soul Rod. Good to have these clips to see how important he was in the world of music.

  • Drum SOLO FTW !!!!!

  • FANTASTIC

  • Great song. Nice picture quality.

  • These guys were such a great band. I wish Mick Taylor had stayed with The Rolling Stones a few more years, maybe it would have allowed The Faces to build a larger catalogue of stuff.

  • @wallyjude3

Wasn’t really an issue. Ronnie Wood was playing with the stones and faces at the same time for about a year.

Then he played with Rod Stewart and The Stones, at the same time, after he went solo, for years.

Faces just ran out of steam. Stewart wanted to go solo, do different stuff. Wood wanted to join the stones

  • @MrCeej9999 "Wasn't really an issue." If Taylor had stayed with the Stones Ronnie Wood would not have been playing with them & perhaps as a result Faces may have carried on for a while longer. Ronnie Lane's illness would have become a factor later anyway, as did Stewart's solo efforts. Yes, they ran out of steam. I feel neither incarnation of the Faces receive the recognition due their contributions.

  • @wallyjude3 ....Your on the money there....

  • @MrCeej9999 Can I ask... Would Woody have been able to continue playing for both the Stones and the Faces if Rod has used the faces for his 1975 Atlantic crossing album and his 1976 A night on the Town albums? I also wonder what the Faces would've made of the likes of Rod Stewarts "tonights the night" - Wonder how woody would've approached that?

  • @PhilipK100 seen the stones waiting on a friend...there's your answer
