Apart from Bruce, none of them answered a direct question but instead shuffled around the edges looking for excuses to justify the moronic behaviour of the "students" Bruce summed up nicely when he said that the vast majority of the British Public is becoming tired of this now.
Toilet door needs oiling!! Hope your cough gets better before you go facing the water cannon.
Yeah there are two scenes - one with the barriers being lifted up and one with the police with round shields assembling in front of the press bulbs - which get played three times each during the discussion. But i dont think that blaming violence on right wing infiltrators is a particularly convincing argument in this case - maybe true for the CND, but not now.
Bruce Kent nails it too: He knows marches like this - eg anti war and CND -throughout history - have always been infiltrated by a handful of right wing loons trying to discredit what's really going on. And the cameras always find them :( Or vice versa. It's a relatively short piece of Sky news footage, but they still elect to replay the same pre-selected 'lowlights' - several times over !!- like a continuous loop. Instead of showing faces and expressions of three invited guests - how rude!
Brilliant stuff Tamsin. Well spoken. Difficult balancing act but you nailed it.
Charlotte spoke well too.
Am important point was made that people usually change their views dramatically - once they have actually participated in such a demo. I would have been rather unsympathetic - before I went on marches to see for myself.

Don't heckle the telly while you're recording :)
Thanks for posting this, looks like all the people being interviewed made a lot of good points in the face of unsympathetic interviewing.
