  • 3:00 SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • thankyou i didnt need to clean my wiring but i didnt know that the clear thing was for the joystick connection hahah

i honestly was going to throw it away good thing i didnt

  • @yellowfellow glad i could help

  • thankzz dude my psp is working fine like it was NEW =DDDD XDDD

  • those screws are tight! help cant unscrew them!

  • @crankyhippo94 well if you really want to try useing power tools but keep the speed low. dont want to sprip it then your boned...

  • @DrDakotaX I strip two screws on my psp, each on opposite side of the psp and opposite location. So 1 left on top, 1 right on bottom. I was sure I was "boned" too and was ready to buy a new front case but someone I used my strength and I got it off. Though, the screws did break off a bit of the front.

  • @DrDakotaX Omg haha you playing monster hunter? I'm trying to fix my shit to play my monster hunter game too. Anyway this doesn't work for me but I'll try a couple more times.

  • @DrDakotaX AH FUCK! Does anybody know that that clear thing called? I just lost mine LOL...

  • @crankyhippo94 use rubber gloves wen yu hold the screwdriver

  • @crankyhippo94 A tip on tight screws in something delicate like aluminum or plastic, I find it's a lot easier to push your screwdriver in *hard* with both hands then slowly crank it. If you fiddle too much you'll grind away/bend the hole/shape of the screw making things even more difficult. Just a random tip :)

I often just press my palm on the other side of the device into the screw driver and push them together then slowly rotate it to the left.

  • @crankyhippo94 me too, i can't get rid of these screws

  • does this work for slim and lite psp?

  • this might have to do with the analog stick being stickey or whatever but.. when i play a game called monster hunter freedome unite my guy would randomly move without me moving the analog stick... is that because its stickey?

  • i broke the plastic in two. so i am screwed

  • Yo man, sick vid.I just PAINSTAKINGLY(was really nervous lol) did this with my psp,and it's working fine now at least. You ROCK >=P

  • nice video.....and get the new monster hunter game!!!

  • @90097819 i want to but im not in to psp that much any more haha, my friend is getting me back into it, ill make a vid on how to hack it.

  • I did this 3 times, one time every day but it still drifts...what do I do?

  • @ruky1024 tighten the screws man. i cant stress that enough

  • @Shroudedheart6 i would either try to drill it out or... something...

  • 1:47 back in that slut?

  • @vogelbekdier97 slOt

  • the grip thing of my psp joystick broke off, what do i do?

  • @jezzejam you know that blue stuff teachers stick to the back of posters at school, steal some of that and put it on there use that haha

  • i did this and the character on screen just runs round in circles still .n e other solutions

  • @miller1986 either buy a new joystick, or buy a new psp sorry man

  • @DrDakotaX ay dude why its so hard to unscrew

  • @MannyMMA my guess is that its beacuse they are mechanicaly screwed in and proably some glue was added to keep it secure.

  • soz but my analog stick is movin on on it's own.

i not too sure what the problem is but the even if the jog stick on the yellow pads plus the plastic thing, it still movin downwards on it own.

i read on fourms and other source that recalibration should fix this issue but i would perfer a different methrod id possible.

help would be apprecitated (soz for any bad spelling)

  • for some reason it still not working.

my screen is off and it still movin downwards for some reason.

    any ideas?

i read somewhere that recalibrating might work but idk recalibrater doesn't seem right.

  • thank you thank you thank you XD...

  • i fixed mine by takign out the analog stick and it worked because when i got it from m yfriend it didnt work and nwo it does lol whern i go on the internet i moved it aroudn lol lucky me now i just have to test out a game

  • where can you buy the little clear plastic thing with the wires in it , i think thats the cause of it fucking up

  • @MrCohibaboy cant. thats why i said make sure you didnt lose it... you have to buy a hole new psp

  • @DrDakotaX you can i found them on ebay

  • @DrDakotaX No your Wrong, You need To Buy A New ANALOG STICK

  • Sory to say it, but this did absolutly nothing...

  • @TugaAvenger sorry to say but you are a moron. you didnt tighten the screws goodenough...

  • @DrDakotaX No, I tried this 3 times, and in all of them screw them well.

The problem is, I misread the purpose of this. What's happening with my joystick isn't sliding, but dead. When I pull it full left, it either refuses to move or wobbles around between neutral and left. I suppose this was to fix PSP's in which the joystick starts moving on its own while idle.

  • @TugaAvenger thenn i take my previous insult back. and re place it with this one. Dumbass

  • @DrDakotaX hmm, okay. glad to know there's still decent people on youtube.

  • @DrDakotaX hey dude, is your psp phat or slim?

  • @cloud8750 its a 1001 series, first of its kind... now is bricked v.v

  • so far so good cause i notice when you fix it later it will fuck up its self

  • 0:37 look on top of the silver circle that goes around the PSP writing it a smiley face

  • I did this shit about a month ago mms friend did it for me and this shit is still messing up I even out a new analog stick in fuck idk Ima try and wipe the plastic part again but if it doesn't work again Ima just say fuck it

  • thanks man. that helped a lot

  • Still have this problem even though I did everything this video said are there any other options?

  • just get a little screw and unscrew them.righty tighty lefty loosy

  • @alphonslo LMAO i heard this on an episode of home improvement and i never forgot it

  • unscrewing ur psp is easy so idk wat ur talking aboot

  • please help me i cant get them out!

  • 1st try almost lost the rubber thingy and 2 screws...

2nd try 1 screw got stuck and tried to remove it by force and then my psp almost got well...screwed

P.S. not blaming you at all but next time try fixing your sound recorder or your voice.

    5*

    good work.

  • didn't work for me I even brought a new plastic piece...

  • where i can buy this plastic think

  • @TheVolkiboy ebay

  • PSP joystick is being annoying on Monster Hunter for me. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to MHFU and it keeps moving me towards the top left, which is really annoying when you're trying to dodge a Tigrex charging at you from that angle.

  • Mate, you could've PM'd me about it :(

  • O: I didn't PM anyone about it. I said it twice on comments but that's about it. However, I got pissed at my PSP while trying to fight a low ranked Teostra for no reason, and I bit it, and it started working fine... Piece of junk.

  • the only game that really gets affected by the drifting joystick is dead head fred... there may be more but shit just try getting past some stages in the game with a drifting joystick and woohoo... you got one hell of a mindfucking session ahead of you.. :P:P

  • I hear ya on that. I basically stopped playing platformers because of my analog problem. Dead Head Fred and Tokobots were 2 games I just completely gave up on.

I ended up fixing my problem with JoySens, but this video is pretty cool. I wish I'd seen it sooner.

  • what do i do if i opened my psp only to find that i don't even have that tiny plastic piece?

  • Thanks for the video, fixed my problem first try!

  • wow thx for the upload!! it solved my problem big time! :D

  • dude i cant unscrew the top 2 screws and the bottom one, there like tight, how can i take it out please help?!

  • THANKS BRO!I LOVE YOU!!

  • what do you think i should do?

  • hey i did that and now my analog stick doesnt respond

  • Worked like a charm thanks. Shame I wasted money on a new analog assembly before I found this!

    To
