@lzboy231 CO2 tanks must be removed as they are filled through the same valve that lets the pressure out. HPA tanks have a different fill nipple and do not need to be removed from the marker.
@foghat456 You cannot, nor should you EVER, fill a CO2 tank with compressed air - it's extremely dangerous, as compressed air tanks are much stronger than CO2 tanks.
@adderlyyadiqq Tanks cannot be shipped full. If your tank is shipped it will arrive empty. If you buy one in the store we do offer the first fill free!
@Bu11zzAye 60-75 degrees won't hurt your shot count, but it will hurt your pressure. You'll probably drop a good 15-20 FPS from where you would be if it were an 80-90 degree day.
@AbeybladeAsteR70185 Yes, not only that, but because it is unregulated pressure your shot to shot consistency which translates directly to accuracy is worse. HPA is always a better choice over C02. Most mid to high end guns can no longer use C02 as it will ruin them.
@gunmaster9898 No, you need one with a MUCH higher output then that. Compressors for paintball and scuba equipment are several thousand dollars to start.
Is a co2 bad for all tippmann guns? And also if you have a remote line on your marker to the co2 tank while your marker is facing down (barrel to the facing the ground), does the co2 still leak into your gun..?
@TNTslayer1997 If you are referencing something like a car tire air compressor, no. If you have an industrial strength air compressor (3000-5000psi and not 150-200psi) then yes, you could probably find the fittings from the same company.
@The5thshadow23 I'm gonna take a wild guess with the age of any, since I saw a 9 year old buying it from the store and walking out. Tanks aren't filled when they're sold (at least mine aren't) and even if it were the changes of any danger would be incredibly low, so I don't know why there would be an age limit.
My gun package description online says that the Co2 tank that is included with the package says that the tank works well with an external velocity adjuster and that it works well with Co2, nitrogen, and compressed air. I have an air compressor so can I fill it with air???
@HustlePaintball - I'm thinking of making a spare air tank out of one of these. Can't I just add a air adapter to this where I can fill it from my garage air compressor?
@jojojosmart You cannot fill this tank with your garage compressor, because most garage compressors go up to about 300psi max, whereas typical compressed air tanks go up to 3,000psi or 4,500psi.
Just wondering but I have the GXG Tactical Vest with 4+2+1 pack that I bought from you guys and I was wondering if the Crossfire 88ci 4500psi Compressed Air N2 Tank will fit into the tank holder pouch.
What do the ORINGS do and how can the CO2 destroy some of the guns. Will it destroy a Tippman 98 custom over a period of time? I'm just starting out and need to know these questions. Thanks
@fuckyoda A 9oz CO2 tank is not filled by measuring the pressure (psi).
You have to get all tanks (CO2 and Compressed Air) hydrotested every 3-5 years to ensure that they are still in good condition and can be filled safely.
@pierceman555 HPA tanks are always the best way to go for any marker. The consistent pressure from first shot to last makes your marker much more accurate and reliable.
@pierceman555 HPA tanks are always the best way to go for any marker. The consistent pressure from first shot to last makes your marker much more accurate and reliable.

how much does a Co2 refill at a paintball store cost? Either for a 9 oz or a 20 oz. And also how much does a refill for compressed air cost at a paintball store usually?
@justinpiu Yes, Guerrilla Air makes some of the best tanks on the market. No compressed air tank is made completely of aluminum, they are a composite of steel and aluminum.
@HustlePaintball i have a pod holster with a slot on the back for a 20 oz gurilla air tank to rest on my back, what HPA tank would fit in a slot for a 20 oz co2 tank? (the holster for the tank has some room about a inch of free space. Please reply
Is Spyder considered high end cuz Iv got a shitty Tippman I just started playing but in the town that I live in theres nowhere to get Compressed air is it possible to put Co2 in a spyder electra?
@aznturtle100 No, we had a lot of customers e-mail in asking us to do instructional videos on the product that we offer, so we started. We strive to be the most informative, un-biased, and easy-to-follow videos, and in this we believe we have no competitor.
If you mean that the performance is the same it can be correct, but when you say that is the same its not the same, puere n2 is 100% n2, and HPA is high presure compressed air, that has almost 80% N2 and lot of other gases with other stuff, i just want to know if the performance between the 2 gases are the same. I want to know this so i know what to buy, a scuba tank or a gas tank for O2/N2/etc. Thx.
Very, VERY few people actually use pure Nitrogen. Its really just a nickname for hpa (as atmosphere is 72% n2), to get pure nitrogen requires even more expensive equipment than the already expensive compressors used to charge a tank to 3000+ psi, so paintball sites dont use them. Only place you could get pure N2 is diving sites, and even then the performance difference is un-noticeable in this sport.
Co2 is not as consistent for accuracy or reliability, but it's very price conservative for the amount of shots that you get out of it. If you have the cash to spend, I would always reccommend a Compressed Air Tank over C02.
Yes, absolutely - Compressed Air is much better than CO2. The amount of shots you get out of your compressed air tank depends on the size of tank you get. To estimate, here is a simple way: For a 3000psi tank, multiply 10 by the amount of cubic inches, and for a 4500psi tank, multiple 15.
For instance, a 48ci 3000psi (48/3000) would give you approximately 48 x 10 = 480 shots. A 68ci 4500psi (68/4500) would give you approximately 68 x 15 = 1,020 shots.
A 48ci 3000psi tank would give you approximately 480 shots, total, before needing to be refilled. The way I arrived at that number is by multiplying 10 times the cubic inches of the tank. So, 48 cubic inches, multiplied by 10 = 480.
It's not exact, but it's a good way to estimate how many shots you could get.
If you can, use compressed air but if you cannot use compressed air the best thing to do is a remote coil instead of an expansion chamber. If you would still prefer the look a an expansion chamber let me know and I will find some that are compatible for the Alpha Black!
Thank 4 responding to my question im 14 and still learning about all this! I have another question will the Co2 being cold will it effect my E-grip! (Just wondering because if heard some myths about the electronics failing because of the temperature)
