  • Listen ,in forty years this is on pare with the original, its coming in from a tottally new angle wicked voice an axe and ive been listenigng to the electric blues for many years..................shit hot

  • if some feel this version of the song is pale

this is my take on gathmouth who are we to secondguess the greatestst musician that ever graced this earth

  • Good version but stones are better can't beat originals

  • I love CGB, but this version doesn't have the raw blues that Keef intended. Strike me down for busting on Mr. Brown. He would tell me to shut up and sitl down.

  • Just great!!!!

  • This version pales by comparison as far as (the) "feeling:" of the song is concerned. Though the music part of it is well done & layered with different instruments, & as well the percussion is much more interesting. Please note that in the original(?), Mick Jagger added his vocalized interpretation of an accent used by gangsters in the 20's, perhaps.

Mr. Brown treats this tune as a C & W tune, which is cool, but this cover seems "strictly commercial", & has no soul in it.

  • @ms3ss05 I'd have to agree. I am a fan of both musicians, but every song on the album Exile on Main St built on the others. In my opinion, you can't take a single song out of Exile, it loses what made it great if you did.

  • DAMN !!!

  • love this version

  • Best version ever

  • Thanks for This one Master Sonny landreth with his friend GREAT song and Guitarplay!
