  • I found a combination that, while not even remotely as awesome as the above (FOOD WISHES RULES BTW), is pretty okay for an easy meal. If you mix a jar of some Trader Joe's Alfredo sauce, a cup of freshly grated Parmesan, a little black pepper, and a pound of fettuccine, you get a kind of instant and pretty decent dinner. Just a tip for people who are on a tight schedule and want some nummins. If you have the time, however, please make it from scratch and do it the Chef John way.

  • @deviantgodd cook the garlic in a stick of butter, then add the cream, salt, pepper, etc... take it off the heat and add the cheese, add pasta to sauce. toss. enjoy heart attack.

  • Alfredo uses cream, carbonara does not.

  • @vi3tboi2o6 No, better to cook the shrimps in the sauce/stock 1-3 min maximum, all the good juices from the shrimps will be in your sauce not wasted.
