@baredd79 ok this is a year later but man i just did exactly that...sautee them put'm ina bowl and take a fork to the feast! =D mouth watering over skillet and then before my eyes the best thing iv ever tasted came to me within 4 minutes!!!!!!
How to cook mushrooms with less flavor? I usualy don't eat mushrooms, but I want to start eating in a more vegetarian way, if you know, pleas let me know, just reply this coment.
you always start with onions first because they take longer to lose their moisture if you would start with the mushrooms first then you wouldn't let the onions finish cooking properly
But even "undercooked" onions would still taste alright, proof is you also eat them raw, whereas overtly moist mushrooms are just horrible. You NEED mushrooms to be well-done for them to be good, I'm not an expert but I think she's right.
And if you do want to cook the mushrooms on high heat it's not good to have partly cooked onions in the pan already, cause they'd just burn while the mushrooms are cooking.
My opinion !!
Anyway I liked this, always found mushrooms tricky, thanks.

Tried them today for the first time... Wow! They were great! I used an iron skillet though, but that seemed to work fine. Thanks a ton!
