  • China is soooooooo clean.

  • only in China could the great wall have been built.

I no longer buy Xbox related stuff , or Sony, or Apple products. Ive limited my gear to only ireland, Germany and other country made products. Its disgusting these billion dollar industrys cant even negotiate with FoxConn and demand better work environments

  • there are pros and cons in every change, however the people that got out of poverty compared to the people who got poor doesnt lie, china is creating wealth everyday and is becoming the largest economy, soon their will have an economy powerfull enough to redistribute and provide a better live for chineses, something impossible in communist times since the economy was estagnated and the country was felling very behind western ones, capitalism only triumphed because communism sucked EVERYWHERE.

  • check out my "beware china anything" playlist

  • starting to happen here in US. slowly but surely coming in our future too.

  • Someone actually suggested in the comments that the pollutant, outdated and dangerously over crowded railroad system in India is successful? Wow

Most of you people only look at the "Seen" never the "Unseen".

  • these story is same as what happen to US and the rest of the world. The business man buy & sell company and bribe the government official and tell mid and lower class people to fuck off. So these is not new. Is happen thru out the world.

  • Privatization is painful, but needed in all post-socialist economies. It's happening in eastern Europe, it's happening in China. State enterprises, which prioritize employment over profit, need constant state help and are unefficient.

Chinese villigers are allowed to work in the cities, instead of being forced to work in subsistence agriculture. GINI = inequality is rising, but incomes are a lot higher than before. Consumption of everything, from cars to meat is up for millions.

  • @coleloto -------------->U don't "need" 2 privatize state enterprises. Look at India. BSNL is a state run Internet company- it competes AND SUCCEEDS against almost all private sector players here. Look at AMUL DIARY. It is a cooperative. It still runs and succeeds better than Kraft, Britania and other corporates. Look at INDIAN RAILWAYS- state run and voted the best value 4 money worldwide.

U only suffer "inefficiency" in terms of MARGINAL profit, but u r running costs are well covered.

  • @coleloto ------------Consumption of everything, from cars to meat is up for millions.--------------->When Chinese go 2 work in cities, u have an oversupply of labor in cities. So if supply goes up too much, prices- as in- wages come down by the equal factor. And in capitalist China, wages are rising MUCH MUCH slower compared 2 prices.

A Chinese worker had it better in Mao times w/ food, school, house etc. But today MANAGERS have it better MUCH but workers are screwed. That's the diff.

  • china was better with Mao eccept for the cultural revolution because their econome was self sustainable but it need some western help to modernaze their city

  • fact:china overall is better off now than it was in the 70s

  • @petercom10 ---------------->Not really. It's better in GDP but not GINI and MPI. The LARGEST GINI and MPI gains in China were early land reform era under Mao's time. He made calculative and logistical fuckups like great leap forward.....but then the state policy itself didn't prey on common folk. China's GINI today is worse than the United States!

  • @petercom10 Generally, statements beginning with the word fact are: simplistic and full of shit. Last I checked chinese workers are getting rather pissed at having to work for slave wages, ridiculous hours and near homicidal conditions to outproduce other nations, often for western companies engaged in outsourcing or for contractors facilitating it to the West.

  • OKay, maybe I jumped the gun a tiny bit but the comments stand. I just have to add that I do support a move to a smaller government and a greater liberty. China has a giant government and a tiny citizen. It needs a giant citizen and a tiny government. No more calling on papa g to save me. These people were leaning on the promises that could not be kept and that is the fatal flaw of Socialism which is the promise of Communism except it violently achieves power.

  • Documentarian appears to put blame on state managers and removes blame from the bad design of state management. Capitalism works, central management can't because centralizing power corrupts who ever would fill the position. There simply can't be enough checks and balances in that system. That's why it fails everywhere it's tried. Even a pure hearted manager can't know your needs as well as you know them. Example: Traffic will manage itself if allowed to play out, but traffic lights kill.

  • This documentary has the feel of propaganda. It takes a look at symptoms of change (always painful) and concludes for you their causes. You're better off to dig information up for yourself or rely on proven experts (not just any expert) to understand the causes and measured consequences. Is this the temporary result of switching from state managed business to capitalism? or simple case of government abuse? perhaps a mixture. They had to abandon central management because it was failing.

  • well guys life isnt fair ,everybody knows that there will be always victims you cant have wealth without poverty .

To become a great nation you have to to do things which are very bad.

When you are a bisness man you will understand

  • The chinese people who really believed the "great advance" are like Americans who still believe that U.S went into war in Iraq to get rid of terrorism. I'm not saying they deserve it, but uneducated people usually are the ones who get screwed over. But sadly in this case, it's our own brothers screwing our own people over.

  • No wonder why the Chinese Communist Party spends $95 Billion dollars worth of funds in the police force, and more than in their military.

  • The myth of Capitalism and its supposed "progress" is clearly exposed in these videos.

  • @Reformation1517 actually its communism that failed the chinese...they are now playing catch up

  • @jozzo6: Oh yeah, Capitalist cannibalism is working great for the American people.

  • @Reformation1517 it's not though america is albania in neon

  • @jozzo6

It is the mixture of communism and capitalism that allowed China to progress so rapidly. Controlling 1.3 billion people is not an easy task. If all 1.3 billion people were given democratic rights (votes), then most government projects would have been stalled. It would have slowed the economic growth of China. Just compare China to India. One of the main reasons why India is not progressing more rapidly than China is because it embraces socialism.

  • Capitalism, privatization, layoffs... so what's new?

  • lol "This is Ching Dingaling"? 2:43

  • 哎... those problems will last for a long time still.

  • the problem is many in China have a problem with moral standards, which is one of the reasons for their succes unfortunately. I think they want to grow no matter at what price for others, ruthless.

  • My Chinese parents hate other Chinese people because those in mainland China tend to exploit and manipulate the work force. It's sad but true.

  • Let the truth be told, you never see this in controlled news media.

Corruption of leaders and greed of business men & bankers are

all over. It's shameful as a human race. The thing is what are/can

you do about it? I'm for one, even with no power to help, will never

exploit anyone or any animal ( I don't eat meat) and I teach my kid

    the same thing.

Keep posting the "real" video and wikileak the truth.

  • @LGHHJHH bullshit...you have affirmative action and I know you may be too lazy to vote but there's a black man as your president. Go china?....why dont you live there and see how you are treated. You think these chinese people who were mistreated by the government were weak and ill educated? Hey newsflash...research shows that overall Asians have the highest IQ and Blacks have the lowest IQ. I'm being factual not racist. So you'll probably be one of the working ones in China.

  • All those things can be seen anytime. It is not unseen China.

  • th reality of china's economic growth, for some, is quite sad. but in a way it is th sacrifice of few to better th majority. im not saying this is right, nonetheless we must weigh the population in this equation as well. had the govt paid for these ppl they would also need to fork out FOR TH OTHER MILLIONS OF WORKERS TOO.

something that is unmanageble, even with th economical gains china has been getting. for a small country it may seem easy but when we are talking about china th story changes

  • @lovepanic5555 you have it wrong. It is not "the sacrifice of few to better the majority"...it is the "sacrifice of the hard working class for the better of the rich". The govt doesnt give a shit about it's people. Actually one of the thousands of rich corrupt men can probably fork out compensation for the millions of workers "laid off". get your facts fucking straight!

  • @felix242 my "fucking" facts r straight though. i never said in my comment that what these ppl r doing is right. i was simply expressing the huge population also accounts for the housing issues as well. and since i've personally been to china and seen and have gotten paid BY THESE RICH CORRUPT MEN i would assume i have a better understanding compared to u.

corruption is common but not limited to china

or even better HOW ABOUT THE U.S ACTUALLY START PAYING THEIR FUCKING DEBTS OF!!!!

  • @lovepanic5555 no, what you said was not accurate. In china, it is NOT "the sacrifice of the few to better the majority"...it is "the sacrifice of the poor to better the rich". that's contrary to what you implicate...it should b "the sacrifice of the majority to better the few.

also, you can't assume anything about me and whether or not you have a better understanding. I live with 2 international chinese students and I have countless friends who grew up in china. all say the same thing.

  • @lovepanic5555 a 21 year old chinese student buys a new BMW M5 with cash. a very young couple from china (both students) buy a 4000+ sq ft. house with cash. i'm seeing all these chinese internationals here in the US who are somehow able to buy whatever they want in cash. u think their the majority? with all the pple in china u still think that it's "the sacrifice of the few to better the majority"? NO, it's the workforce - the poor, hardworking people that are being sacrificed for the few rich.

  • @felix242 u had to reply twice....

anyways th ppl i no r the rich, just think about it as evolution of humans in a way....plus u didnt answer my question bout the U.S paying money back.

nevertheless u r entitlled to ur opinion jus as i am to mine :)

  • @lovepanic5555 there are two ways to get rich: 1) thru hard work, talent, innovation, and perserverance all the while maintaining integrity and helping people OR 2) thru corruption by exploiting the poor working class and paying off government officials to benefit/allow your lucrative exploits. yakuza, mafia, drug lords are rich...so have they've evolved into more superior humans beings?

About U.S. paying money back...other than the fact that this is irrelevant, yes they should.

  • @felix242 and guess which one of those 2 choices gets taken everytime? :P

  • @lovepanic5555 and i need to reply twice cause i'm out of characters...Cont...

U.S needs to first get out of it's own debt. More obvious, it's not like the U.S. is refusing to pay China back. Unlike the U.S, that's what CHINA is doing to the poor: refusing to pay back what they owe to these hard working citizens.

i can get rich by exploiting, extorting, bribing officials, and stealing...basically do what these corrupt rich chinese do. hmm, i should just sell drugs.

  • @felix242 i agree with you felix. despite the fact that i somehow feel that it is unavoidable to "restructure the old industrial systems" (meaning throwing tons of people's livelihood away), the money grab is still deeply wrong in itself. It is funny to think that basically all of the rich people in china used to be poor, and these former poor people are just more fanatic in money grabbing than the rich born out of rich in say the Western world.

  • Well, when China shifts from one government and economic system to another there will always be people who cannot transition from the old government owned factory system to a newer capitalistic system.

  • It happens everywhere. Not just China

  • @chaukar the difference is other countries at least have a better sense of justice and regard for human rights.

  • im from the uk and even i think capitalism stinks. but i also think it is a real shame that regimes like stalin's gave communism a bad name. lenin and stalin betrayed marx. what we need is global socialism (and birth control), so listen to me everyone, workers of the world unite! (and also those without jobs).

  • @dswright71 This is politics, they had nothing to do with communism, everything to do with totalitarianism.

  • That is what communism will do to you. Thank god for Democracy. Or at least the second amendment.

  • @themoderator130 dumbass. That's what capitalism is doing.

  • @Phlegethon NO SHIT! I said democracy. as in the actual meaning. Like when the U.S. was founded. if the government was the same way now we would be better off.

  • @themoderator130 nope, the US was "founded" in closed doors away from the public, without any input or ideas from them. Only reason the "founders" made the constitution was because they were not making money under the Articles of confederation.. so, they imposed a system in which they had just escaped, taxing the people and then creating a system of power without any input from them. (think electoral college)

  • @themoderator130 you don't understand the definition of communism, this here is capitalism, or corporatism, or corporate fascism mixed in with totalitarianism.

  • Absolute power corrupts absolutely. This has never been so true as in modern day China. The "Communist" government cares nothing for the millions living in China, they only care for themselves and their wealthy supporters.

  • We dont care we are living in a poor country, but we are proud of a improving country.

  • hahahaha, he is so poor with LCD TV and Smoking a real Cigarettes."that is not hand made roll up cigarettes"...This guy is no where from being poor in China...Show the poor and skiny chinaman in China with Poor men cloths like from Mao days in china

  • Fat looking China-men in China...Living off Rich Food...Show me a skinny Chinamen...like the North Korean to prove they are Poorest of the poor

  • for your information ...Those Commie State Worker are ret.with a Govt monthy paychecks at the early age of 40...This is just like Social Security payments in the USA... that is why that have Nice Colthing and Fat looking

  • how sweet is it...at the beginof this Video...This fuck face said he has no Money....But he is very FAT with Nice Clothing.. maybe one of those rich eating Chinese....My bad Ass you needed to post a skinny Chinese ...that look like from North korea...

  • @HEROchinaCN

    you don't know shit!

  • yes , That why everyone called your country as the SHIT-ASS-A that because your American are Dumb bass human...Dont know about Shits about the world....join your Navy and See the world. please get off welfare with Wic program

  • @HEROchinaCN

Haha!! If it weren't for the stupid Americans, China would be speaking Japanese right now. Of course, that's if they didn't just kill you all. You're just another brainwashed puppet, nobody cares what you think or say.

  • @Devilock79

did The Shit-Ass-A win WW2 against Japan in China...The Answer is ""NO""" and there was No Fucking reason for Your Racist Govt to Drop the 2 Atom bombs on the tiny Little Island of Japan with only 12 years old kids as solders

  • @Devilock79 Do you recalled Your Shit-Ass-A lose the Korean War in the 1950...Just how to the World believe about Amwerican win the War against the Nips in China..Lol...Loser cant Win

  • there r lot guys like him in China. Poor, homeless, no job. China is becoming a Capitalism country. Rich's getting richer, poor's getting poorer.

  • @MrAllanduck ..you as American know all about the Rich alway getting Richer and the poor only getting poorer in your Shit-Ass-A..like the Welfare Funding for Bankers and your backward lazy-ass Auto...and the American Poor live on a $2000.Refurb. Single -Wide Mobile home in your Tiny American Small Towns with make up of 70% of the American White Population

  • I always laugh when a thug tries to critic what another thug is doing :)

  • BTW. once CCP withdraw all their founds in USA banks and USA weaponry, you guys will be able to have some credibility, meanwhile you are just taking part of this huge corrupted system and you are being hypocrit

  • Free China Free Tibet Fuck CCP thugs and goons

Long live Freedom and Democracy in China

  • But nice job trying to deviate the subject from CCP corruption, you do Li Changchun and the Beijing propaganda department tells you to.

  • Don't worry like CCP these criminals will get what they deserve the Uprising in USA is forming, and our Uprising in China as well :)

  • is china corrupt. sure. is U.S. just as corrupt? abso fucken lutely. U.S. is juss better at hiding it. its almost like China dosent care who knows it. they gona take over shit. they gona steal countries and destroy people, and sell their organs. Humanity wise, China has to do somthing. free tibet!

  • USA doesn't hide corruption, it actually gets punished, you just aren't watching the news that often.

CCP sometimes punish very harshly corurption, but very often these dirty people gets away with it.

If CCP would execute all their corrupted officials China would be a much better country.

  • no, im not talkin about petty corruption. im talkin about the level of corruption that controls the U.S. im talkin about stuff like the FED that controls the entire U.S. currency, how are u gona punish a corrupt system that controls our entire money supply? Did Cheney get punished for enron? worldcomm? Did bush get punished for illiegally invading countries for the profit of weapons contractors and nation builders like halliburton owned by cheney? at the cost of americans sons and daughters.

  • so who gets punished? Did Guliani get punished for saying the air is safe to breathe after the 9/11 attacks so the firstresponders police officers firefighters EMTs and 5000 new yorkers could clear the debre so WalStreet can be opend juss a week after. And now hundreds of New Yorkers are dying from lung related diseases, and estimates over 5000 will end up dying because they trusted the people in power. More people will end up dying from the governments lies then the actual 9/11 attacks. think.

  • Dosent Hide Corruption? have u heard of the bilderberg group? any people holding a public office, are not allowed to have any secret meetings to discuss U.S. policies, with anyone. then why were clintons, bushes, obama, kings and queens, mayor of NY, senators, congressmen, caught on camera having a secret meeting with CEO of crysler, Pepsi Corp, wolfowitz head of world bank, bernanke head of federal reserve(fed is privately owned nothing to do with government) CEO of nytimes and ny post,

  • Root out the red Chinese government power so the people can have better life!

  • Yes CCP must go out of China, they are a real pain in the world!

  • CEO of fox news, Rockefeller, bank owners, CEOS, and people in power, have secret meetings. but since the media (ny times ny post cnn fox news) dosent cover it. then nobody knows about it. even when people find out about the meetings and investigators take pictures of NY mayor walkin with rockefeller and CEO of crysler in a secret meeting, The mayor should already be kicked out of office. but he is not, nobody even knows about it. corruption in the U.S. is hidden in plain sight.

  • I know about it, and CCP is taking part of it, who is the biggest investor in USA, that's right the Chinese corruption party.

CCP protects USA banks big time too :)

  • I admire and love the Chinese People. I despise their self proclaimed "Leaders"

  • For the Sake of the Chinese, get rid of the CCP

  • If this sorry state of affairs continues, the Chinese people will eventually lose so much they'll have nothing to lose.

The CCP will then be doomed. :)

  • Did he just say that China once was a workers paradise? What a fucking communist moron.

  • goddamn...

It's moved me to hear the voices of those who gave 30 years to a cause they believed in with their whole lives.. only to get spit on by their own corrupt system...

  • @benelliman -------->Problem started happening when China embraced capitalism under Deng Xiaoping.

  • Its just amazing to me that people have so much greed and disregard that they can willingly do this to people.

  • youre right matey..

  • @Swansen03 AMERICAN+EUROPEAN+ OTHER RICH COUNTRIES are coming to China and taking over because of "cheap labor".

The cheap stuff you buy in shops are probably all made in China; would you want to buy expensive stuff when there is cheap stuff? This video is biased. There is both good and bad with this as with everything.

  • @bcofuicryiluv welp, depending on where this "expensive stuff" is made, yes, i would like to buy it, along with how well its built. On that, i would rather buy all my stuff from the US, and of the little consuming i do, i try to buy local products, then small business, then US made, in that order. If none exist then yes, i buy it foreign. The US has a strong enough economy to support itself without shipping things half was across the world, and should support itself, would be much stronger.

  • @bcofuicryiluv

i dont buy anything that is made in china

why should i? i dont support labour abuse

  • @Swansen03 at least they aren't as bad as America.

  • @DarthHater100 the thing about time is you learn, at least should learn in said span. Now i understand that many of these workers are employed by ether corporations in America, or at least because of them..

  • @Swansen03 Sorry I couldn't really follow what you're trying to say.

  • @DarthHater100 made that comment above a year ago, in that time i've come to understand a lot. Corporate America spreads throughout the world, and so does its influence. In this instance its a chinese corporation, but it was modeled after what american corporations do. Much of the work and the work situation there is created by corporations here...

  • @Swansen03 If you grew up in a world with no health care, fascist political environment, flaw legal system, constant hunger and consistent uncertainties, will you still have regards for others? I think you'll have regards for yourself first.

If you grow up under those conditions then suddenly made a fortune and totally altered your well-being, will you feel further insecure that uncertainty may happen that takes you back where you were (poverty)? This "greed" is caused by fear of poverty.

  • @hwh0626 i'm not really understanding the purpose of your comment. yes, i understand your point, understood your point, also have a much different perspective on the world, also made the above comment a year ago, a lot can happen in said span.

  • @Swansen03 Sorry, I only had 500 characters so I couldn't clearly express my opinion.

I was baffled by the number of people who lives a fortunate life with access to extensive information cannot compute the nature of reality.

In addition, I was offended by those who cannot see the reality and protest against everything that's going "wrong" in this world. Whereas many of these things are just a cause of reality.

I'm not saying you're one of them though. But I hope I made myself clear.
