Ok. I appologize for the crappy post I left on part 2. You did a great job from what I saw on this one. Fantastic tone for next to nothing. An introduction to the the art of lutherie. Thank you
this is great man! but a few questions, what string guage would you recomend? and is there anyway to make it more like a fretless guitar where you can push the note down onto the neck?
When you use the piezo, do you modify it at all or just wire it to the jack and stick it in the guitar? I was looking at cigarboxguitar dot c om and was wondering if the modification they detail is necessary.
I really appreciate you making these videos. Have a question for you though. What guage of strings do you use? Sounds like the G B and e off a standard guitar, but I'm not sure. Thanks
Such cool idea!! Just to think some poor guy back in the early 30's or so couldn't afford a guitar and prolly didn't get a dime from his ingenuity.. But it's so awesome!! Can you do a video start to finish? Like bob-Vila home shows!!

Shamus..you make a great cigarbox..use nice thumbtacks instead of cutting notches on your neck :)
