  • i tell you the solution. kill her.

  • To the guy below me remember that Thailand is 3rd world and yes they do not approve as portraying Thailand with ladyboys this is not like Australia where your sexappeal is not discriminated by the workforce

  • what the fuck is she talking about? limited careers? i have a few teachers who are openly gay. i've seen gay businessman, gay cashiers, whatever, you name it.

  • SHE is a very beautiful WOMAN..

  • i wonder if this ladyboys phenomenon is a genes thing or a psychology thing.

  • i dont understand why ppl are hating on the voiceover, saying he's not showing them due respect. it might not be his personal opinion guys. CNA is available all over asia, thailand included. I would think it is only respectful to thailand that they respect the fact that the government has chosen to recognise ladyboys as males legally. there are certain political boundaries that cannot be crossed, and this is one of them.

  • I respect these "women" I am not gay or transgendered female but this is the world they are free to choose who they want to be.

  • my god this fucking sickens me :S who do young thai guys hate being boys why is Thailand focusing on these tranny freaks hell kill them and cremate their bodies nobodys wants them in this world. There are young innocent girls who will soon be sold to pimps and be fucked by evil white guys in pattaya and Thailand's corrupt government

  • why are there so many ladyboys in thailand?

  • The music and playful fonts really take away from the seriousness of the documentary

  • Information is incorrect. I know plenty of Thai transgenders with jobs in mainstream society.

  • @pholomolo Agreed. I've seen them working as saleswomen, tour guides, etc. Unfortunately I have not seen any in any kind of executive position.

Also incorrect is referring to them as trangendered men. If they were female-->male, they would be transgender men. These are transgender women, if not the third gender. Note: Transgender, not transgendered. Honestly, are you maled or femaled?

TL;DR, I have high respect for these women and hope to see them advance in Thai and global society.

  • And for some of the other comments, sex is what is between your legs, gender is what is between your ears (in your mind, personality) and in your heart.

  • Comment removed

  • Even though this is obviously in behalf of these people, it still unnerves me terribly whenever the narrator refers to them as "men" and by male pronouns. That's just hypocritical.

  • couldn't those jackasses get technical education ? and work in industry ?

  • It's disrespectful of the narrator to refer to these girls with male pronouns. Thai people wouldn't do so. Very clumsy. Westerners should know better.

  • the interviewew know what he`s doing.he`s not respecting these women

  • I can't help but twitch whenever the ethnocentric spokesman says "he"

  • I hear you! It bothered me too!

  • @screwnorms maybe because they are men. how you act or feel doesnt make you a specific gender. biology does.
