You're right but you have to understand his point too. Eric Carr had his own makeup, Vinnie Vincent had his own makeup... Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer just got the used makeups Ace and Peter had.

Ace and Peter were controversial, egomaniac, drunkards (Frehley) and drugg-addicted (Criss). Ace insulted the fans, Peter insulted Kiss, it's over for them and it's a good thing cause Eric Singer is a way better drummer. I've seen him live twice with Kiss and wasn't disappointed. But Thayer can't sing

Sweet human being?...When he was alive..We met up with Gene Paul and Bruce and talked to them for a while after a show...Gene;Paul Bruce and his girl friend at the time were all cool and we even got a table together @ the restaurant of the hotel they were staying at...and when we left Gene asked us if we would let Eric know they were waiting 4him as he was @ the bar talking to some fan 4 hours...So on our way out..we went up 2 Eric and gave him the message from Gene and he was a total DICK 2 us!

I always liked this song a lot on "Hotter Than Hell", but there's something particularly affecting about this performance. When Gene delivers the "I'm ninety-three, you're sixteen" line for the final time, you hear that his voice is on the verge of cracking and you see the age in his face. It's not a smooth, pretty moment musically, but it's a grandly emotional one.
