Great video. As a disabled vet, am gratified to know that Sen. Obama has a decent chance of being our next CinC. Remeber that it was Obama who led the investigation into why there were such discrepancies btwn VA offices and the veterans' disability awards. It unveiled an ugly truth about the VA:not all VA offices are pro-veteran. I was a rater for 12 years and know the law mandates VA to grant benefits whenever possible. I will answer any and all VA rating questions. Sincere thanks to u all!

hiyisal, you're right. I forgot Barack Obama's a member of the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee. He started that investigation 3 years ago in Sept 2005, & that was within his first year in the Senate. He's got to bring that up in the debates.

But was this video ever on TV? It's great. It gave me chills. Those soldiers' photographs fading into themselves as each of them spoke was edited beautifully. It's a great way to put that message on a TV screen. If this hasn't been on TV, it should be.

A number of veterans organizations have endorsed Obama, particularly those from the more recent wars who are struggling to get treatment and benefits. Obama's record in voting pro-veteran legislation is far superior to McCain's if anyone bothers to actually look at it. MCain is proof that being a veteran doesn't automatically make you pro-veteran, and Obama proves that you don't have to be a veteran yourself to be in their corner.

It's hard to see veterans around my age and younger. During my students days I learned a lot of about the Vietnam War and about the returnees...it's so unbelievably sad that is happening all over again.

But here is hope with Obama. He respects the American people. I trust Obama will always act with the American peoples best interests at heart. I can't say the same for McCain
