  • 08:51 Cook is sucking his finger???? O_O

  • If these dishes were mass produced they would not be worth a penny

  • no a big fan of this style of cooking....

  • Could be good, probably is good, but I definitly prefer my bruschetta with dark Lariano bread and Cuore di bue tomatoes with tuscan olive oil and two leafs of Basilico. Basic, classic, delicious, affordable and natural. Please.

  • 7:56 did he just say... rabbit... brains?

  • Its,actually 165 a person. Not 500

  • @OfficialChamp

The wine wasn´t included then I guess ;)

  • what was the bill?

  • @enos218 about 500 bucks a person :)

  • @iswedishfishs v Thats about the same as the fat duck.

  • @enos218 umm...ok???

  • wow they dont serve meat . everythings seems to be a jellyfied ball of somthing , strange.

  • I probably will never eat in El Bulli but this video invites you and makes fun.

  • @JanMelet yeah because it closed down

  • Self indulgent glutt

  • @YentaY0 boooo

  • @YentaY0 boooo

  • Seems like you need a rather large and experienced palate to go there.......not that you can anymore.

  • why don't they wear hats and gloves?these duuds have no idea on food sanitations.mom and pop eatery would be fined until bankruptcy for these violations and these 3 star shit can just get away with it!

  • @yusushi no professional restaurant would make you wear gloves..

  • @kristoafer chances are someone will pick their nose and than grab your food,BONA PETIT!

  • @yusushi gloves???are you crazy, gloves are very dangerous in a kitchen with many foods, contamain the food.

  • Awww when the chef was slurping away I thought it was so touching! it just reflect on his love of cooking

  • the dessert phase of the meal reminded me of charlie and the chocolate factory

  • exaggerated!! i have cooked some of those in my house, easy as a cake....

  • @psyvala no where near the same flavor. sorry =(

  • @ fitz. It isn't the 'slam run' 'grand slam' as it is the multiple home runs. This is about creativity and direction hidden within flavor not appeasing the palates of those challenged. As a chef it is all about the change with what you have. Don't follow the same road simply because it is less 'bumpy'.

  • en el minuto 8:54 uno de los chef se chupa su de dedo pulgar bulgarmente gas y supuestamente es el mejor restaurante a nivel mundial

  • i wonder how much would a dish cost there ...

  • i came here honestly it's all pure bullshit yea sure it's good but it's not that good for the price and second food in spain is not at all good and it is super expensive, europe in general besides italy, greece and france ( which france is kinda overrated) taste like crap only because it's european people make all this bullshit. In all my travel best food came from Mexico (not mexican food from LA which is crap) Italy, America, and also japan i liked.

  • @weaternpi

Food in Spain is not that good? Really, I take it you've never been to San Sebastian where they have more Michelin starred restaurants than most cities. As for expensive, you must have gone to all the tourist spots and the fact that you think Mexican food is the best, speaks volumes about your culinary predilections! Stick to McDonalds!

  • @fitzp123 have you even gone to the places i mention i traveled the world and to tell me ("you think Mexican food is the best, speaks volumes about your culinary predilections") honestly that shows how ignorant you are mexican food is by far one of the best foods in the world and i mention mexico as one of my top 5 i did Not Have Them In Order.Spain for one has no identity when it comes to food even Spanish will tell you this.

  • Comment removed

  • @weaternpi there is no such thing as "best food", we all pick according to our own taste. I'm peruvian and currently in france, where the food here is mind blowing. I've also travelled a lot through mexico, but feel french food is superior. But hey, maybe I just haven't found the right mexican restaurant yet.

  • @Peruvian007 i doubt you been to france i lived there for 2 years and the food is good but not that good for the price you pay it's all media that gives all this hype italy is way better food also greece.

  • Oh lord, please may I eat at this place before I die? I promise to behave

  • Woweee!

  • fake

  • @CosmicVenom This isn't fake its called molecular gastronomy its where people take food and alter its shape and form to make it into art and a crazy dining experience. how do i know this isnt fake im going to be taking classes.

  • @CarolynnJayXO sounds awesome....i was jus trying to piss ppl off.....wish you all the best for ur classes : )

and let me know how it goes....where will you be taking these classes by the way?

  • I like Burger King...

  • this caliber of food is not obtained by anyone... Ferran is one of a kind, a true genius in culinary world ... trying to achieve this kind o f status is almost unreachable, unless you have complete determination to blow everyones minds with your talent... plain and simple, you either work to impress people, or you actually live...

  • I'm 16 and starting my career, and just looking at the stuff chef ferran comes up with is UNBELIEVABLE!!...>.<...makes me wonder if i'll ever be able to compete with chefs of this caliber...

  • Probably not.. But I wouldn't be disapointed.

This is the elite of the elite.. the best of everything when it comes to the culinary world.

There are many truly brilliant restaurants around the world. But this is a different level, that perhaps maybe 3 chefs around the entire planet can be on.

    good luck but

  • viva gli spaghetti!

  • I'd like to taste the SNOWBALL !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ferran Adria kind of looks like Dave Matthews lol

  • 32 courses? 5 hour process? I can't even imagine how great this would be if I got 3 friends and went to this restaurant.

  • Can a brotha get a steak

  • El Bulli is closing this year. If you haven't been there yet, you should go before July. If you can get a table that is.

  • i wanna eat in that restaurant .......

  • Haha good one ,what a pig .Id fire him after seeing this.

  • Comment removed

  • Entertaining to watch, and the food looks like it would be interesting to try. But you know this smug narrator would eat dog shit from ferran, and not say a single negative thing about it.

  • Amazing!

    Clay Douglass

  • this is unreal

  • So inspirational

    teenchefteddy.blogspot

  • For food that's barely there, that chef has one hell of a belly on him. LOL. Must be eating @ TGI Fridays on his day off.

  • That guy just shovels the food in his mouth. What an annoying a-hole.

  • This goes beyond cooking. He's an artist just as much as van Gogh, Picasso or Andy Warhol is. Fantastic!

  • lol, carrot air

  • @magget16 for 30 dollars.....nice cooking there

  • What's wrong with egg and chips?

  • how much is a meal there?

  • @vex123 think you need to get a table first.. and bealive me thats not easy..he is only open from june until around 20 th december.. at the moment he talked about having a break from Cooking..

And the price... well after sitting weeks after weeks to try get a table ..price doesnt realy mather..

  • @vex123 they dine 8000 diners and they get 2 million request a year.

so try to get a table now. Maybe you'll get a place in 10 years.

  • @vex123 About 300Euros for 20 dishes

  • 32 course meal 5 hours LOL i would love that

  • I want to GO there and eat EVERYTHING they have!

  • 8:54 cook licks his fingers and keeps plating

  • @jldoster hahahaha good spotting!

  • @jldoster i agree... cant resist huh... hehehe

  • @jldoster He is fired..........

  • @jldoster he licked a thumb, but he has 4 more fingers to work with before he needs to wash his hands.

  • @jldoster i toatally agree with in any of that standard you would be shot

  • @jldoster That's just the classic "real way". theres the right way and the real way. im guessing youre not also a chef but it happens noone can be perfect. theres also the 4 second rule....

  • @jldoster i'm sure he has just been fired for that.

  • @jldoster It happens in every restaurant. Every one of em. It's not suprising and I've worked as a sous chef in a restaurant. And seen it happen everywhere I went for courses.

  • @jldoster That adds to the flavor

  • It is my dream to work in this man's kitchen.

  • @xterminaler my colleague worked with him..

  • @xterminaler Hurry up, because it's closing in a few months apparantly.

  • everyday we see futuristic cars, buildings, computers, yatchs but never before we seen food in such a way that it is like alien food. What can i say, we are the aliens in our universe and this is the food we really want to eat.

  • This guy will one day invent a fourth primary color

  • @drtisbeter hahaha lol

  • Ferran Adria, is without doubt, the most talented, innovative and best chefs in this world. As a chef myself, if i had as much talent in my little finger that Ferran has, i would be a happy man. I would love to be able to enjoy the dining experience and have a chance to see the man in action, but i have tried making reservations for 2 years without success. Well at least i can try to recreate some of his genius dishes

  • @chefdude72 now closed, is trying new things, but I think it can be seen very often.

  • Ferran Adria, is an inspiration.

  • This Chef is amazing. Alot of strange dishes. but in a good way.

  • It makes me disgusted when people say these things to one of the greatest chefs in the world. For one I am a culinary student at the Le Cordon Bleu and I highly respect everyone in the culinary industry. Fuck you lazy ass and fat asses!

  • well in a cook and i think those kind of comments only reflect how much ignorant a person can be about food if you really want to understand the meaning of proper eating you should read about jamie oliver and maybe then you can talk shit about other people if you want to!!!!

  • When you think about it, All these aren't really amazing... It all makes sense...

  • @sincityfire amazing things can make sense as well

  • @MuayThaiViking Obviously. but amazing things are explainable, Unfortunate.

  • mapu

  • raw tuna bone marrow and caviar...ive just died and went to heaven!

  • les apprentis sorciers de l'industrie ont de l'avenir...

  • a beautiful work of art, i can only hope to eat there one day

  • Simplesmente impressionante!

Gostaria muito de visitar este lugar!!!!

    Muito, mesmo!!!

  • ..disgusto e ribrezzo.....non ho altre parole!

  • Innovative, sophisticated and crazy !!!

  • rather have McDonalds

  • @mlw7890 i'll be waiting for the day when you need a triple coronary bypass and maybe a gastric bypass from all that crap from McDonalds

  • @mlw7890 you are retarded

  • thank you what an amazing opportunity for the presenter, i'm very jealous!!

  • u dick i do tht at college its not hard

  • i think the diches are a bit too much. no texture or substance. in the restaurants serves FOOD, and i think this seems more like a science experiment

some of the other top10 restaurants seems to serve more ''real'' food from the menues ive seen

  • i would eat here first then get fish and chips and mushy peas on the way home!!!

  • what a shit, i prefer an bife de chorizo

  • WOW this is on my bucket list! es mi sueno ir a el bulli- amo a ferran adria :)

  • What the gods eat available for the mortals!!

    Bravo!!

  • this place is great, and ferran is amazing with it.

  • The presenter is such a tool.

  • This reminds me of the beginning of "American Psycho"

  • ya puede estar buena la comida porque para la mierda de raciones que ponen

  • love it when Adria eats his ravioli =D

  • AMAZING I AM SOO INSPIRED

  • i have to take a crap

  • I just got confirmation today. I'm got reservations for 2 at el Bulli for 2010.

  • Hey balasaur,

PLEASE!! Post your feedback and if they allow it, take some snapshots!!

I'm still hanging onto hopes for Bouchon and the french laundry! Maybe next year, fat duck.

  • French Laundry is pretty easy. Just call first thing in the morning, 2 months prior to the day you want to go.

Thats what I did, and I got reservations with no problem. Same with Per Se.

  • @balasuar how much is it?

  • @ViolentSmiley08 it's 250 EUD per person for the 35 course tasting menu. Given the reputation and the level of excellence I would classify this as an extreme bargain. Total, for two people it came to $976 USD, including wine, cava, dessert wine, to and fro cab, and an extra 50 EUD tip.

  • El Bulli has an average of 2 million reservations in january and can only except 500 thousand for the year so if you wanna eat at el bulli youll probably have to wait tilll next year. O and Ferrsn Adria is closing El Bulli in 2 years to think about what he wants to do in his career so try to make it there if you can Philofthefuture87

  • i heard that they arent even running at a profit anymore and just make revenue off of books merch and other things

  • Actually, they only take 8,000 diners a season. Also, Chef Adria has said he is closing el Bulli, to revamp it and re-open it in 2 years.

  • de gustibus non est disputandum!

  • wtf???? 8:54 ????? amateur in heaven !!!!

  • 8:54 ;x

  • sorry 32 courses

  • to elobservadorenliinea, you would be full because this is a 35, or 39 course meal, sure each plate is small but after close to 40 plates youll feel it lol

  • Everyone needs to understand something. Coming to our fine dining restaurants for the food is one thing. for the experience, another. but coming just so you can tell your overprivileged soccer mom buddies that you ate at the most expensive restaurant in town for the sake of spending the money and having no respect for the product and technique and decades of training it takes to feed you in the manner we do....Fuck you. go to TGI Fridays.

  • @jkentsuperman182 Good lord, please stfu you dead behind the eyes, tattoo covered wannabe chef. Food is to unite people not divide them you sick weirdo. Without middle class people you so derisively call 'soccer moms' you would be out of a job. Grow up.

  • @jkentsuperman182 go to tgi fridays anyway, america has no fine dining restaurants.

  • @jkentsuperman182 spot on! couldn't have said it better

  • @jkentsuperman182 i have been there ....well this guy has a pretty good con going on.....serving samples at 30 dollars per plate for stuff that costs less than 5 dollars to make is a good way to make money when people who have nothing better to do keep wowing the stuff on the plates.....kinda like picasso scriibles that sold for millions and he knew he was on to a good con when idiots began to wow the canvas with nonesense on it.....the true art is in the con and not the food...

  • @abonawas No offense but, I'm surprised someone with a lack of knowledge in the food industry and food in general, would waste their time at a restaurant like El Bulli. You have to take into account that every restaurant has a food 40-60% mark-up, to make up for labor cost and (in the case of El Bulli) the use of their groundbreaking kitchen equipment. Honestly, you shouldn't waste your energy on something that you obviously know nothing about.

  • @TwanJ8 and i am even more suprised to see people like u defend this il bulli....il billi is just bullishitiiiii and i will take a bid mac and fries anyday ....enjoy ur carrot air my friend.......and i will enjoy my bangers and mash smothered in gravy and not the few drops u get at il bulli.....it is folks like u who destroyed the food industry feeding us chemicslas ......now tell me what is wrong with serving god given green peeas the way they are in tghier own skin instead of jelly drop

  • @abonawas You left out some crucial components in your argument, and that is, irrational thought. You expressed your dislike for chemicals in your food, yet you speak so highly of McDonalds, a place infamous for using chemicals. Just to let you know McDonalds McNuggets has a chemical known as

dimethylpolysiloxane, an anti-foaming agent also used in Silly Putty. Enjoy puting that in your stomach. I'm am a lover food. I enjoy tacos from a taco truck and dinners at 3 star restaurants.

  • @TwanJ8 no one ever died from crispy dimethypolysiloxane.....but a recent mol gas restaurant poiisoned more than 60 customers and the place was forced to close down.....i recently went to a restaurant in saudi arabiya called joraif rest....we went to the back yard where we picked a 1 week old goat.....it was killed and put in pieces on top of black stones with coals underneath.....the meatr just melted in your mouth...served with rice and fresh arab braed ....1000 times bettter than ilbulli con

  • @abonawas You are hillarious. Everytime I see one of your responses on here I laugh hysterically. Thought you would like more info on your beloved McDonalds . An award winning documentary called, "Super Size Me" featured an individual who ate McDonalds only, for 30 days. In the 30 days, the then 32-year-old man gained 25 pounds, his cholesterol levels rose dangerously as did fatty accumulations in his liver, and he experienced mood swings, depression, heart palpitations and sexual dysfunction.

  • @TwanJ8 sexual disfunction no.....yes me and my misses we obese yes slobs yes but hey we get it on good almost everynight.....she can down 5 big macs in one session.....and she has good liver good heart good moods and damn good heart beets.....u just jelos cos i eat at macdonalds and u eat at il bulli....well ill bulli can suk my boollii......next time i get a reservation at il bulli i will be kiking ass......i got diplomas in flower arranging and massage tekneeks

  • @abonawas Have fun being a depressed, overweight, sexually frustrated person with no taste for good food:)

  • @TwanJ8 pls pls pls i knoiw all about good food......i kill my own goats foe fresh meat and not from supermarket shelf......i dont get conned like u eating at fancy restaurants with fancy ass dreesed waiters and flower and candle on table and nice white table cloth with napking with so much furniture and fixtures all over the place all for a spoon of pee jelly or carrott air for thousands of dollars...pls get a life or a wife....i had for dinner fresh goat curry and home made clay oven bread

  • @abonawas stfu you muslim piece of shit. Go back to screwing your camels and leave us europeans alone.

  • @UKGUYDOWN u r europeans for now only.....u just wait a couple of more decades like by 2030 we the muzzies will occupy all of europe like it or not......we already have colonised bradford birmingham manchester london and before long the uk will be ours totally and .....then there will be no more il bullies or any other simmiler eating establishmednt....ya all will be eating from curry houses and kabab stands and will al be spekin a paki dialect and al be brown in color......ya mon

  • @abonawas sooo stupid

COOKING IS AN ART, DO YOU REALY THINK THAT THIS FOOD IS BAD??? I WENT THERE AND I BET IT IS A MILLION TIMES BETTER THAN YOUR STUPID GOAT. BY THE WAY IF YOU DONT LIKE IT STOP PUTING STUPID COMMENTS!!!!

  • @narbodiople narbo soooo smart.....u forget u talking to a profesional cook myslef but nebver mind.....then i have rrite of free speesh so i can say and will say whatever i like ....ok....then again notng beets a seered goat meat over hot stones with rice and bread.....eaten with hands with no utensils....at il bulli u have like 25 utensils diferent forks and nives all this for a silly tiny winy piece of meat that u can hardly see on ur plate...the days of il bulli and his likes are coming toend

  • @narbodiople well DERP DERP DERP DERP DERP

  • @abonawas bet your no more Muslim than the man on the moon.

  • @abonawas ignorant ass

  • @abonawas ...yet you still got drawn into the wets ways and bought a computer and signed up for the internet?..oh the irony of it all....though I reckon you never seen a goat in your life the truth be known.......changes the hamsters in the mini generator for a fresh pair.

  • @abonawas I find it very amusing that you are on here trying to appear as if you know something about food but you obviously don't. I think it's safe to say, you just embarrassed yourself.

  • @TwanJ8 dode u know bug all about food...i knoiw a lot cos i know how to eat it.....and il bulli can suk my booli.....but like they say there is a soker born every day and dats why il bulli can make money knowing there are fools out there that will pay 50 buks for carrot air and a drop of green pea jello....and dats why macdonalds makes billions more than bulli will ever dream of.....and if dats not the case they wpould not have been dat popular world over.....i am right...long live the big mac

  • @abonawas hey terrorist! I killed your cousin ... we americans and europeans will fuck up your people and kill them all

  • i will NOT get full with that dinner... and with that money i can eat whole month and my family too.

  • Wow!!! I read some of the comments and it makes me laugh. So, the first thing that should come up to someone's mind when going to dine out is this.... "DINING EXPERIENCE" so knowing this concept, to go to this restaurant should be just that. Now, for someone who is saying; I am going to eat out because I am hungry, I would kindly: do yourself a favor and when going out, just go to McDonald's, Burger King or even Jack in the box and you should be fine because fine dining is not your thing. Cheers

  • @andres1963 The thing is, is that Dining Experience isn't a very stable reason. For instance, a pile of "Very tasty food" shouldn't be served in such "tiny" portions, Thats just silly. Especially for that price, ingredient and work it does Not make sense.

  • @andres1963 when i done outside and i do that a lot i go for eating and i stuff myself as much as i can leaving not a scrap of food on my plate....thats my dining experience.....not like u all smartly dressed hushing in low tones to ur date and looking all silly as u eat them samples trying to look important then get the finger when u get a bill for 500 dollars so u can brag to ur silly ass friends about ur dining experience with that skank u were with...gimme a break dude and pls get a life

  • @dookiebowser thats what i was thinking!

  • There is a physical satisfaction of eating something like a big burger. there is a satisfaction of being full. humans have a psychological tie to eating things that are filling. no taste can replace that bond. That being said i'm going next year and looking forward to it!

  • For someone like you, this is okay, but do not make this as a general statement because many people like to experience new things and love fine dining, and also live by the concept "eat to live and not live to eat".

  • How do you even possibly get a reservation? I have a friend who lives near the restaurant and would like to visit someday. Do you just have to wait few years, or do you have to have some type of connection?

  • They accept reservations during january. They get in the area of 500.000 so expect to send a few of them before your number us up.

  • @Philofthefuture87 just make a reservation for the year 2013... but make it quik

  • 2010 is booked.

2011 (the last season before hiatus) reservations start in January of 2011. You go to their website, and during the first two weeks of january, email them and ask for a reservation.

  • in terms of a interesting experience, this place is amazing, theres no doubt about it. but the reason i go to eat is because i am hungry. from day to day i don't say to myself "im hungry, im going to make some foam." When my friend ate there he had a great time, but when they were done they stopped to get food on their way home.

  • @robmixstyle Are you and/ or your "friend
