ive been playing trucker games and watching these videos and i think i would actually kind of like trucking if i could have music/a tv with me so i wouldnt get bored... seeing different cities and things like that would be cool.. my mom always says that truckers have a lot of health problems cause theyre not moving and theyre bouncing around in the cab and stuff
6:10 if you baked it past 210 let alone to 250 you did something wrong.. Always keep it in a low gear in as high RPMs as you can, if you have a manual fan switch turn that S.O.B on before you start climbing. They really should teach hill ascending in driving school, can't tell you how many newbs driving for bottom feeders I saw in the middle of a grade with the hood open and steam blowing out the motor.
Boy are you lucky you don't run up here to Canada. Up here you can run 180-240 miles before you get help. There are some parts of Ontario where you don't see a town for 3 hours or more. Nothing but bush. If any one of you are brave enough to come up here make sure your truck can handle it. And bring food and water and what ever else you need.
Love the videos sorry you had troubles with this load like that...i worked with a trucking company and these guys drove freightshakers to lol they break down alot..Hope you have many many safe travles and be safe :) Keep the videos coming love watching them
@WigWagProductions Yes, the best thing about this job: to be able to see so much and get paid for it.
I worked as a cabdriver in Stockholm, Sweden for about 6 years, I visited every square inch of the city and suroundings and got paid for it. To be a truckdriver is better than driving a cab though, because you don't have to deal with screaming ignorant drunks and you get to drive to more far destinations than cabdrivers.
But to get the license for a truck is far more expensive and difficult.
lucky in one sense you guys have the workshops so handy quite often we fix our own rigs in the middle of nowhere. We get the good weather and the nice scenery but our roads are pethetic really keep you on your toes, i can see how the fatigue would set in on a long drive with such good roads. another great watch mate well done.
@4x4Tinny Thanks bud! If I had to work on my own truck, I'd be in trouble! LOL! Much respect for you truckers down under and the things you have to deal with. Appreciate the comment and more videos coming soon!
i have my licence for over 5 year, my driving was on and off, also got kids (2). Litle bit lost in trucking right now, do you know any good company for local job's (kids small).Ilive in Missouri. The video is great. Thanks man for doing that.
@NEOSHOST Appreciate the comment! Unfortunately I'm strictly OTR so I don't know much about local companies. Best of luck to you though. I understand that family comes first and respect you for that. Take care!
@WigWagProductions ...Great videos, man. Keep up the good work. I can't pass the federal DOT physical because I lost my right eye several years ago. Is there any other kind of driving you know of I can do where they would let me with one eye?

@rudge1982 Not long at all. Most trucks have very large and powerful fans that kick on when the engine temp gets too high. They are extremely effective. I probably would have been fine to just keep going, but decided to play it safe. I only stopped for about 2 minutes and it was already well into normal range.
okay. if i want to do long haul, i would have to drive across europe. te longest distance to drive in holland is about 300 miles. i usually get to drive about 200 to 250 miles a day. with the trucking jobs in holland, most drivers are home every night. but i do have one dream. that is to drive a truck threw the united states for a week or so, just to see what it's like out there. i just love america. drive safe and keep on filming, youre doing a great job putting them online

@williamsiben Thanks for the kind words! I hope you're able to make it to the states sometime and ride along. It's quite a circus out here! Be safe there in Holland!
@DSMluke It was one thing after another. A good trip to document I guess, and a total coincidence that I happened to be filming this trip. Must have gotten it all out of the way in one lump sum because every trip since then has gone nearly flawless.

@JungleListSoldier Amen, I use to drive in the Nevada desert back in the 1970's and my truck never over heated using that tactic.
