@poortech1 actually I am hating on the fact that people have to drive autos to beat people. There is no skill involved. Congrats...you can push the gas pedal down...and hold it down and that is it...no skill involved. No decision on when to shift, no having to decide what gear to shift into, nothing.

Some people (like me) can drive a manual, and really well, yet opt for a automatic for tons of reasons. I can name the biggest one off the top of my head pretty quick, ITS FASTER. The only thing a supra is scared of is an auto supra.
Auto could be cool on other cars, but for a Mark IV Supra, standard is the way to go. 8 second supras, going 180MPH in the 1/4, use STOCK 6 SPEED TRANSMISSIONS. Stock autos can't hold half the power.

Wow, I didn't know a car phone was optional in these! Infinity speakers but do you plan to change the stock radio? Cool, automatic with short shifter from the factory! First time I've ever seen the stock twin turbos. How is that flexplate holding up, is it stock? What tires are on it? Still the stock brake system, do you plan to upgrade it and if so to what? If not, I'd paint the calipers with high temp paint. What kind of fuel system are you going with? 93oct on this test and 14psi? Max psi?

@HrSupra The Autos are tricky to put an exact number on. It will handle about 500 for a while, but the most important thing about extending the life of the stock auto is how its controlled. If you are using a stand alone ems it needs to be capable of controlling line pressure. If you want more than 500whp a built Toyota auto and a higher stall converter will be required, as well as better fluid cooling

@nuggz4president Its not worth it, a built ported polished head is around $3000 (give or take) and for what? a few hundred RPMs spool difference. The main benefit of head work is making more power with less boost.
omfg.. tell me about that cast exhaust manifold? :D Are you trying to break ur GF's motor? Cylinder 1 and 6 has longer way to turbo than Cylinder 2 and 5, 3 and 4.. Nice way to make undesirable pressure to pistons. :) Get a proper exhaust manifold where pipes are equal lenght ;D
@petrussark is this comment a joke???Tons of people run these manifolds with no problems what so ever. Also the turbines on these precision turbos are extremely efficient and dont create excessive back pressure in the manifold. Like I said before is this comment a joke
@petrussark While a ba ass tubular manifold ( something like what Full-Race produces ) is more efficient all around,the cast manifold is not bad at all! There are plenty of supra guys running the kit pushing 500-600rwhp with great spool time,and for the cost it cant be beat!
