You have a unique voice and a great delivery. Don't ever let others convince you that you need to change....you have to be yourself to be authentic. Keep posting your own versions of different songs...you never know who might be looking ;-)
I LOVE IT -- that sounds SOOOO GOOOD -- I love Little Feat -- miss LOwell George -- but they are still good -- I just saw them in Little Rock, AR 2 weeks ago -- IT WAS SO COOL!!
Very nice. One of my Favorites.....I love the Linda Ronstadt version too. That's the one I grew up with......but you did an outstanding job. Very nice.
Well done buddy, Lowell would be proud. I've been trying to play this as my first song on guitar for three years and I still can't hack it. I'm going to take up painting instead.
congrats I put you on my top 100 acoustic songs. (no particular order). Go to my site if your looking for ideas. great cover. Please send any new stuff or additions to the list.
The greatest American song ever written. And a *great * version. Thanks for reminding us of what this country is supposed to be about. Peace from Los Angeles.
Hey man, Great job. You got a really good voice.. BTW, I covered this one too. Everybody seems to be able to do this and somehow make it their own. Nice cover Bro.
The '71 version is my favorite song because Cooder's guitar work adds to George's melody and guitar lines without taking them over. It has a powerful effect.
After listening to your version 7 times over the last 3 days, I have to tell you I'm impressed. Your vocals get the emotion, your phrasing grew on me, and your guitar puts out full and deep tones.
Well done :)
