It's reassuring to know that all individuals (cadets) who are in the service academies did so via superior academics and that no one would ever be allowed entrance based on their ability to solely play football or basketball........................ Ya, right.
@equinoxranch The academies would still have losing records if they lowered the standards which they don't. Even if they did it would't matter because the superstar players don't want to join the military. Because they are most likely going pro. Plus all of the extra duties and that you have to deploy would get in the way of a potential NFL career. It also has to do with coaching service academies run triple option and barley throw the ball. They don't have the talent to pull a LSU an not throw
