Im 16 years old, and Ive always struggled with my self esteem because of the way I look. Ive always thought that I were the ugly short fat girl. My weight is healthy, but still. This video really touched my heart, and I totally agree: the inside counts so much more. Im a generous, kind & giving person, who put others before herself. I just hope that a guy will see that, and not just the short curvy girl.

why not research your own diet, and try it out.see it more as a puzzle. I know many people that have lost weight and they felt even more proud of themselves.

I think however, that you should be proud of being healthy and happy. Also, being a size 16 is not "chubby". That euphemism is only denial. I suggest lapband surgery. I was fat as hell for a time. In fact, I'm still a tad fat. But I used to be the kind who can't see his penis. (and not just by size of junk). Anyway, I was really fat.
When I was graduating from high school, I wore size 14 and weighed 120 lbs. I was so depressed that if I got any fatter, I couldnt be able to buy clothes. I was off the scale of normal - sized human beings and now in the circus freak arena. It makes me angry and I wish I could go back in time and tell myself that 120 lbs was not fat, and the sizing is BS. There are stores like Lane Bryant that carry sizes over 14. Look it up on the internet if you are looking.

I ended up buying a 15 because the 14's werent on sale...so yea. there are better days when I truly feel beautiful in my skin, today is one of them. Love yourself now, then work towards your goals, otherwise 20 lbs lighter wont mean 20% happier. :)

Yes society is very overrated, but still it is one extreme to another. The key is to be healthy, balanced, happy. Listen women naturally have a higher percentage of body fat than men, because they are built to bear children. But obesity is still unhealthy, and keeps your body lethargic, and overworking full time even while you sleep. Be healthy to YOUR body type, because we all have different body types. When I was graduating from high school, I wore size 14 and weighed 120 lbs. I was so depressed that if I got any fatter, I couldnt be able to buy clothes. I was off the scale of normal - sized human beings and now in the circus freak arena. It makes me angry and I wish I could go back in time and tell myself that 120 lbs was not fat, and the sizing is BS. There are stores like Lane Bryant that carry sizes over 14. Look it up on the internet if you are looking.

thanks for this video. mean alot. I recently went shopping with some friends and I tried on the biggest jeans size which was a 14. I ended up buying a 15 because the 14's werent on sale...so yea. there are better days when I truly feel beautiful in my skin, today is one of them. You are right about loving yourself as you are now, and not waiting for the 10/20 pound drop to grow self esteem. Love yourself now, then work towards your goals, otherwise 20 lbs lighter wont mean 20% happier. :)

Yes society is very overrated, but still it is one extreme to another. The key is to be healthy, balanced, happy. Listen women naturally have a higher percentage of body fat than men, because they are built to bear children. But obesity is still unhealthy, and keeps your body lethargic, and overworking full time even while you sleep. Be healthy to YOUR body type, because we all have different body types. i agree with her and i'm a bigger girl myself and have lost a lot of weight (290 down to 215) and my doctors said i have done a good job and have great health, i want to get down to 190 but no smaller. girl you are cute anyways.. dont worry about what people say about bigger women. i know guys holler at you all the time, as they do lots of us. being bigger does NOT make you ugly, because men still talk to us

i think that if you are fat, with no health problems and happy about your look you should stay like you are and doesn't change just because of society.
