@francishoney i agree partly. they were much better than todays crap. but by and large, the best movies in malayalam were produced in late 80's and 90's. once mohanlal and mammotty started acting in movies like sphatikam, Naran etc. the standard of malayalam movie went down and down

but still vast majority of the movies of 60s and 70's were not very entertaining and logical. this is my personal view.

@knpradeep77 might be...in my personel view those of 60s-70s like Anubhavangal Palichakal, Iruttinte Athmavu, Chemmeen, Nellu, Nadhi, Thriveni, Odayil Ninnu etc...were always better.
