@Momentum139 I know the difference. I like the art style, actually. I just don't think it's executed well. The animation isn't smooth, and not for lack of frame rate, it's because they aren't drawn consistently. They faces are drawn poorly too at times. It really does look more like American anime like Boondocks. DMC was done better. PS. you should check out the other anime DMC, Detroit Metal City, it's hilarious.

It was 4 series of 12 episode shows, one being Blade, the others being Ironman, Wolverine and finally The Xmen.

They were made for the japanese people to enjoy marvel's creations and such.

Take away the cut and the shades and... it just don't ring "blade" to me. But that says nothing about the anime. Just like some people like Bale's batsuit and other's like Burton's.

Actually this is the more recent version of Blade.

The Wesley Snipes version looked like the 90s version of Blade, only with a trench coat and not a motorcycle jacket.

Both the anime look and the Snipes look are fairly close to the eras they're based on.
