Not too sure, really. It's hard to tell because KBB lists these cars for next to nothing (like $1000 max) but the nice ones are so rare I would hope you could get 6 - 8 k for a nice one - but who knows until you see one for sale!!

I think the 87-88 Cougar XR-7 was the best designed from the 80's and 90's! I owned a 87 XR-7 until I totaled it:( Now I have my parents 79 XR-7.

Hey that's cool! I had a 79 XR-7 black w/ dove grey leather, moonroof & ford aerospace premium cassette & radio with power antenna, power seats, locks, trunk & turbine spoke aluminum wheels w/ dove grey between spokes.. mine was totally loaded...Damn I wish I stil had it!

Wicked Cougar! Loved that year, was the best looking out of all of em. They complemented the Mark VII well as a sister car. Please, post some more on the merc. and keep her running! Cool vid to.
