  • I can't say how much RESPECT I have for Daigo.

  • All of that could be explained in a single word : Asian.

  • "TOZENDA!"

    lmao

  • So Daigo is going to teach me how to hold my stick?

    Riiight.......

  • where is Nemo, Uryo, Sako and Fuudo??????

  • Odd....The stick technique he showed was the exact one I usually use. Coincidences......

  • lol, he doesn't even know what games he won his trophies from XD

  • @cryptexify He won GG at Evo one year and he doesn't even play GG regularly, I guess he just figured he'd enter it because he was in the U.S so he might as well....

  • The holding technique is actually true, I gived it a try and now I can do things I cannot before.

    Thank You Daigo Sama! m(_._)m

  • @Drawsigner

interesting. I'll give it a try.

  • Just look at the speed he moves the stick for the Shinku Hadouken... OH MY GOD!!

  • @0xkeNzo

    His username is: MasterSSF4

  • HE IS THE BEST

  • japan gets documentaries on street fighter, meanwhile the world gets animals sleeping for 2hrs and eating

  • "shinku hadouken is a difficult attack"

    LMAO

  • Say whatever you want about Daigo but he still rapes American sf4 players and he has done that for a long time now.

  • 8:29 i didn't see a thing. daymn man!

  • daigos too sick

  • 5 people did understand ENGLISH!!!!

  • @DVSBBPinoyZ suck a dick u fat ugly whore

  • @Standup1016 Shudup N00b

  • Diago has no feelings

  • @POLIESTER191

actually...in this particular video he seems kinda happy-go-lucky(at least for his standards)

  • "There're so many foreign players who yearns for him."

    Lulz.

  • Why was there 'Vampire' twice on the subtitle?

  • LOL @ seth music

  • He's cheating...I only saw one QCF O_O

  • I pwn so many noobs after I switched to the Umehara style, I even raised my rank in the server from D to B+ heh heh

  • Tokido is a graduate student? What is he studying? Also, I heard Daigo is a nurse for his day job?

  • @HBCult tokido is a student at toudai university in tokyo i guess you can say it is the harvard of japan

  • @HBCult he works at a nursing home

  • If I were J Wong in that match...I wouldve Raged out so hard.

  • i respect daigo, but his fanbase is fucking annoying...

  • Not surprising "The God" has godlike speed... O_O

  • 8:30 my jaw dropped

  • wait...shinku is hard to do?!?!?

  • i needa remember that cuz i lost my 6 button-joystick skill

  • @YungMalThaKid Yeah, in fightstick its not easy. Srk+Shinku its hardest than joystick.

  • I remember a video where he showed us a walkthrough of how he holds the stick and how to do ryu's super. Does anyone have a link to that video?

  • Ugh... Somehow, they made Justin look like even more of a slob than he is in that video.

  • Even though that Justin Wong match is old, every time I watch it it sends a chill down my spine.

  • Wow Justin is Daigo's bitch forever. Being remembered for that...

  • He is so fast that even in slow-motion, his shinku hadouken motion looks like a regular hadouken. O_o

  • @sf4arcade because he only showed us the regular hadouken .....( when the camera zoomed on his hands)

  • This sould have been like this :

    Kindevu - Blablabla

    Tokido - Blablabla

    Mago - blablabla

    Momochi - Blablabla.

Umehara Daigo - ........... This man does not need no introduction !

  • Doesn't even fucken care about his trophies lol His biggest one was facing the wrong way!

  • Thank you for the effort of translating this and also thanks you for your SF uploads :)

  • Daigo approves of the Super Street Fighter IV Tournament Edition Stick S - White version

  • Time Warp should make a vid on how fast Diago's fingers are.

I barely see those move. It took less than half a sec I guess.

  • Daigo sure loves that fur jacket of his.

  • I didnt know Daigo could laugh

  • WHY DOES EVERY RUFUS PLAYER LOOK LIKE RUFUS!!??

  • @thezxshadow4you Not really all. Ricky Ortiz, the finalist that challenged Daigo in the EVO2010 uses Rufus and he looks nothing like him. :P

  • Thats a hella nice cardigan Daigo got on.

  • Daigo is a come back King :)

  • after seeeing that fight is when i got SFIV

  • Holding the fightstick like that does make it ten times easier.

  • im so glad for the how to hold a stick tutorial.. now i can finally be like daigo lol

  • "shinku-hadoken is a difficult attack."

    hahahahahahaha...thats funny.

  • @Chaldean4life91

You'd be surprised how many people who are not used to fighting games cannot pull a HADOUKEN consistently, let alone 2xqfc. This video clearly addresses the 'common folk'

  • loool @ daigo trolling

  • Omg his super is fast lolol

  • Daigo has matured so much since the Zero 3 1998 documentary. Yeah, he was a little cocky back then, but now he has a lot more humility and respect for other strong players. (He is also showing a LOT more emotion!)

His games are always a pleasure to watch, you never know how they will turn out until the final second.

  • Holy o_o the slow mo was it the right one ? cause if yes even the slow mo couldn't catch his full hand motiono_o

  • @5:26 "Oh, you mean this giant, gilded, monolithic trophy over here? Uh, maybe it was from that one time I owned everyone's face in ZERO3? Can't remember, it's happened so many times lol."

  • Daigo is SF

  • 8:31 SERIOUSLY? THAT FAST!!! WOW:....

  • @Zco4cuerdas

    Yeah, wtf oO

  • I'm digging that jacket at 1:10

  • oh my can they buff his balls any harder he pull off a miracle are they shitting me right now.He was clearly waiting for that dumb ass justin to do his super. They are acting like he did something that is not apart of the games mechanics. Please don't send any dumb responses matter of fact dont send any response.I know how you fan boys are

  • @darknessredefine Yeah, I bet you could do that too.

  • @Ym1r anyone who plays 3S can do what Daigo did. as a matter of fact, bad players of that game consistently do it.

@darknessredefine glad someone else was able to see that the super was obvious. that doesn't detract from the awesomeness of what he did, but everyone was acting like the parry was super fucking hard or something. I've seen a vid of a Hugo player parrying that same super into his own super for a win and he got ZERO recognition for that.

  • @viciousrape Parrying isn't hard sure, but its the fact that there was an immense amount of pressure and the fact that if he did not get it right he would've lost (thats also another amount of pressure) It was quite obvious that the super was coming out, trying to juke daigo into doing something he didn't want to by faking his super.

  • @Ym1r he didn't do a "fake". even if it was a fake, only the super could reach Daigo from that distance. take a look at it again. watch him take a step back and wait, basically saying "Please super".

I think Daigo is awesome, but don't praise a player for being able to wipe his own ass

  • @viciousrape Justin tried to fake his super which is why he was doing random shit from that far to induce Daigo into doing something like parrying too early or off time. It was obvious from the get-go that he wanted to do a super, which is why he tried to fake. Justin wanted to super to make the game more spectacular, except Daigo ended up making the game more spectacular.

  • @Ym1r if that was his actual plan I feel sorry for Justin

  • @viciousrape Justin's a dumbass, he is always cocky like that.

  • I LOVEd the insights in his personal life! I love the fact that he considered himself conceited by the time he won the international tournament in Street fFighter Zero 3!

Thank you very much for the subtitles 0xkeNzo!

  • cool gamers also have documentaries , after watching this maybe i do good in sf4

  • Last part of the vid felt like a tv show Welcome to Kicking Much Ass with. Professor Umehara!

  • I respect you Daigo but if you were to get away with being a real teacher for SF class i would lose faith in humanity.

  • "It's a technique I can do any time." Daigo was sandbaggin'.

  • LMAO classical "how to" music taught by Daigo himself.

  • man when he did the commands i blinks and missed them only heard the click.

  • lol kind of interestin but at the same time sad i mean they are all a bunch of nerds who just live for videogames

  • @supercooldude181 I think it is ridiculously fantastic to live for video games. Honestly in Japan, gaming is a culture and women are actually attracted to gamers. IMO it seems like the version of playing sports here in Ameica.

And if one could make a LIVING and SUPPORT a FAMILY by playing video games, who wouldnt do this?? HMMMMMMM.....either one could, be sponsered and get paid to play and all expense paid trips all around the world.

  • @MCZandogg yeah thats the sad thing about it that people live the videogames like if it where a real live when it´s just for entretaiment, sometimes shit, not like doin sport and surpas yourself and the others or playin instruments to create art, or studin somehin intrestin like laws to help society and your future , those are style of live! not an entretaiment like videogames

  • @supercooldude181 i dont think it's sad as much as it's a different culture

  • I'm a B+ Guile player on SSF4...I did a method of holding my stick like Daigo, but lazy.

I did not wrap my pinky/ring around the lever + I rested my palm on the pad.

This lead to me doing poorly when I was facing right direction on the screen.

I switched...I can say it's far superior..and yes my commands are much more clean.

People should give this a try if they are having sloppy technique or troubles.

  • Not having played 3S or understanding the game mechanics I didn't understand what made Daigo's win such a big deal. This vid finally explained that to me.

  • @fro7k

he parried every hit from chun li's super.

  • wow..they really do this to mainstream audience...RESPECT!

  • IYO = ROCK LEE FROM NARUTO LOL

actually I shouldn't be laughing at his thick eyebrows, my eyebrows are not that thin either but then I thin it up

  • i see daigo still has hatred for HAKAN. He even used him as the training dummy for his demonstration. lmao.

  • @2chickenbone you do realizes he is the default character for training mode, not like you have to go out of your way to pick him or anything.

  • thanks for translaton and upload!

  • That match wasn't a miracle. It was pure unadulterated skill, technique and precision.

  • Justin Wong is so fat. xD

  • where do you get a stick like that? and how much?

  • 5:08 lol stfu!

  • Iyo looks scary... In a really cool way. Like, if I was in a tournament and I saw I was up against him I would know he is good just by looking at him.

  • Translator needs to learn some fucking English.

  • And the uploader (Kenzo's) probable response would be telling you to shut up and learn Japanese.

Maybe you should be more forthcoming about who's posting these vids before vomiting diarrhea from the mouth.

And that's coming from an American.

  • lol. how to hold the stick. that's funny. good advice in this vid

  • @xkeNzo can i say i love because of this XD

  • this guy is my hero!

what a PRO fighting game playa!

  • @Mojoheart I know how he does it perfectly-practice. He's been playing in tournaments for years and once said he practices SF4 five hours a day. That much practice'll make you that good.

  • what joysick is he using?

  • Hell yeah. Learning from the master lol

  • dude recording a screen sux kinda hard. Anyway thanks for sharing.

  • How the hell does he not hurt his hand (his pinky) holding the joystick that way?

  • @Sephlock I'm not a huge fan of Daigo (more so a fan of other jp. players like momochi) but even so, I agree that that's probably the best way to hold a stick, if you have one available to you I'd give it a try, the fingers on the left side of the balltop move the stick to the right, while your thumb moves the stick to the left, your pinky never actually applies pressure to the stick, so it doesn't hurt.

  • holly. He got perfect command while I always have extra command like 1 or 2 =.=

  • WTF?! Is Iyo back?

  • Also forgot to mention 2 low jab-low strong-low forward-Shinku Hadoken

  • To all the people wondering why Daigo said the Shinku Hadoken is hard to input, remember he said; it's hard because you need to input the six directional commands without any unecessary ones. This does make a huge difference though when getting the timing down for the combos with say, one frame to execute the combo correctly(e.g. 2 low strong-low roundhouse OR 2 low jab-high jab-low roundhouse)

  • rare footage of Daigo actually making a miracle.

  • Justin Wong: WHEN ARE THEY GONNA STOP PLAYING THAT FUCKING VID ALREADY! GOD!!!

  • 2:50

The most EPIC moment is Street Fighter history!

    Nuff said.

  • Thank you to the person who translated that

  • professor daigo teaches SF101

  • this subject must be offer in all of college levels SF101 LOL nice professor daigo =)

  • Who else tried to hold the joystick like that and found that doing so costs you the ability to do any moves at all? It takes some getting used to...

  • wow they make the shinku hadoken seem so hard to do

  • man, his input for that super was lightning fast!

  • @bluedha i can only see one hadouken motion, i dont see the second one which activates shinku

  • OMG, so that's how you hold a joystick.

  • this guy is so on another level lol...i almost wanna stop playing now lol!

  • thanks man. i just got back into sf after 10-12 years. time to get as godly as this beast.

  • 8:29

  • This is prity awesome...thanks fer the translation.

  • Its funny how when When they Mentions Justin And his Pic comes out it Makes him look As The Villain Lol.

  • i remember a video calling that grip the "no homo"

  • If all those 7 come to America, all tournaments will be raped and destroyed. Justin probably wouldn't even make it into the top 8.

  • Thank you, cant' wait for part 3!

  • SUCH A SIMPLE TIP about holding the stick!!!! I tried it tonight and it has improved my speed without a doubt!!! FADC is so so much improved!! THANKS A LOT DAIGO and OxKeNzo for upping it! top quality post

Will there be a part 3?? if so how many parts will it be?

  • kenzo, thank you so much for taking the time to translate this video!

  • "A GOD" WTF!!!

  • @evilkorpse you didn't know that? probably not in america, but in japan people sure do call him "kami".

  • @futureicon23 pfft man they sure are kinda wierd in japan no offense to them i just kinda think its wierd to call someone that just for a game i mean i love street fighter but damn its just a game

  • @evilkorpse Its not just a game any more.

  • @evilkorpse oh yea than wtf it is if im using it on a VIDEO GAME console and i bought it at GAMESTOP WHERE THEY SELL VIDEO GAMES then WTF IS IT THEN shit people just get to serious about this game they should just get lives instead i mean no offense but i love this game but shit i got other stuff to do instead

  • @evilkorpse Nobody cares what you gotta do. Don't force your view on the matter on to others. If you don't like people's dedication to a game, just ignore them.

  • @ssbkid pffffffffft

  • @evilkorpse they would call you weird as well

  • @chargeNkill fuck you dick

  • Okay, now back to practicing 363 days a year to become godlike.

  • thank you for uploading this!

  • Some good SF history.

  • "Well, there's a rule in my family"

As I read that, I was thinking "don't jump!"

    Thanks for the translations

  • @Fuddulous Thats only when he has ultra. Otherwise its not so risky. Well you can still eat a Shaku.

  • Thanks for this

  • lol @ Daigo using the pointer like a school headmaster.

  • Yayyyyyyyyyyyyy Daigo, teach me the mysteries of SF!!! much respect for translating this.

  • "6 commands in a raw"?

    lol

  • anyone know what tokido is studying as a graduate?

  • @some1rational Probably this.

Actually, wasn't it materials engineering? Or was that someone else?

  • Many thanks for translating. You rock!

  • lol it said ryu's supermove is difficult to pull off

  • @perplexshytt It is for people who don't play videogames often- go hand the controller/stick to one of your grandparents and see how they manage :P.

  • Thank you!

  • Is that the stolen footage?

  • Comment removed

  • @psychicsandwich7 You've obviously never encountered one of Daigo's fanboys...

  • sweet thanks kenzo :D

  • ty for this kenzo

  • The comentator makes it sound like Daigo was actually fighting in some of those battles.

  • 8:30 FTW?!?

  • lol i love how daigo says theres a right/wrong way to hold your stick (for SF). i bet that would turn some people off who've been playin in their own style for a while. luckily, i held my stick like that from the beginning.

  • forgot to thank you for the video and subtitles. who knew changing your grip of the stick would make such a big difference

  • 4:33 "there're so many foreign players who yearns for him"

    sounds kinda gay
