  • ...elegant images...and if we add the music to the images, we'll banquet on elegance...a story well told, be it a photo or a life or a dress walking by, doesn't need more than 5 minutes to be told...understanding it may take a little longer...it's the art of taking out the superfluous, the most difficult art in life, somehow mastered here by these Gentlemen...be it round midnight or 2-37 in the morning...bless you "behjoh" for sharing...take care, que é como quem diz "Leva o que quizeres" :o)

  • Unfortunately WE'LL NEVER SEE MJQ : thy are gone for THEEEEEEEEE last Jam Session: i dont knpow if Mickey Rooker is still alive

    Amazing : a

  • Did you notice its Ray Brown on bass not Percy Heath. Different. They're great and John Lewis always kills me. What a fantastic touch, and the way he pulls on the time. Milt's a marvel.

  • ha i love the pianists expressions..he's bill cosby on acid

  • I am Retired from Music after a wonderful career of 50 plus years, and I want to say that Milt Jackson has always been my favorite Vibist, and I don't know if you know that he had perfect pitch and photographic memory. He could look at a chart and remember it always. True ! What a talent for spontaneous tasteful improvosation.. Rest his Soul.

  • I didn`t know that. Perfect pich is gift I would love to have. But sometimes, I`ve heard, is not so pleasent as that. Thanx for info.

  • Thaaaaaanks behjoh! To discover these videos in Internet today that is Christmas make me this day very special. I love this group and hope that when I die I can hear them playing together wherever they are now. Even I was very young when I had the opportunity to be in a concert of them it was the beginning of my love for the Jazz music.

  • John Lewis says more with a single note than many keyboardists say with a dozen chords.

  • Imagine what he does with a dozen notes

  • Not that many years ago, I was very lucky to see them live in Wilmington Delaware. I was sitting close enough to Milt Jackson to shake his hand.

It was one of the best experiences of my life.

The greatest tragedy is that they were the last of a, now extinct, breed.

  • super high!

  • Amazing.

  • Wondreful!

  • this has been made in Germany in 1982.

  • Man, this is the best stuff. :-)

  • Please do you know the date and MORE PLEASE!!!!!

  • Sorry, I don`t know the date. I posted almoust all of this concert

  • Behjoh,

Thanks for posting this and the other tunes. I am a huge fan of MJQ. I met Milt Jackson back in the mid 90s. He used to play at Yoshi's in Oakland and all of the musicians would stay at this little hotel by lake Merrit. Anyway, a guy I knew was the head chef at the hotel, and Milt was a pretty good cook, he would stop by the kitchen and make pineapple pies. I miss his (Milt's)sound.

  • That`s what I call Funktastic Memories. I live in a country where allmost nothing heapens. You made me feel jealous heheheh. Good Luck

  • Como assim nothing happens ?? Tá negando as origens ?
