How good is You Tube with all these fantastic old clips. We have got it pretty good. My favorites list is so long, and I can play it all through my TV... Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Koko Taylor, Junior Wells, Little Walter, Otis Rush, Freddie King... sheesh!!! Good onya mate.
Kind of like a kid in a sweetshop, who to listen to and best of all who to watch next.
Managed to see several of the greats but missed some as well, such as T-Bone Walker.
What's more, people go to the trouble of posting the clips on YouTube and so greatful for that. Hopefully youngsters will get an idea of how good these blokes (and women) were !!
@3rdStoneObliterum To think all the sincere voices have vanished from the face of the planet seems a mistake to me. Integrity and sincerity may not be a part of commercialized consumerism, but it's alive and well in many who walk the Earth.
"The revolution will not be televised," so I've heard.
Hubert Sumlin on guitar, Willie Dixon on Bass and Otis Spann on piano - how good is this!!!

The best pal.
Otis left this earth far far too early.
This track is a classic.

fantastic character and color and genuine self expression here. Quite unlike the pretentious phoniness of modern-day "musicians".

@cravenmoorrrrrrrrr Yeah, WTF? Blues ain't shit without the banjo!!!!
j/k I still like blues without the banjo. Though, I'm trying to learn the banjo myself, and I am very interested in the "blues" side of it.
