  • Brilliant... brilliant.... brilliant. I think that says it all really!

  • Saw these Guys in the part of 1997 at an outdoor gig in Glasgow's Tower Records...Fantastic performance that left Argyle Street to a standstill. Great Scottish band - we really should be producing more like this!

  • Saw these guys in Madrid, Monsters of Rock with Pantera, Megadeth and Iron Maiden, excellent show. They rock!!!

  • cette chanson est une de mes préférées, en plus, elle va très bien avec la vidéo

  • saw them many years ago at gateshead stadium with bryan adams still one of my best concerts

  • remenber this from hi T in the park many moons ago :D

  • Great music, i saw them in Lisbon 17 years ago - one of my best concerts!

last year i saw them in lisbon again - the vocalist was not the same, the songs doesn´t seem to be same - diferent level on voice, etc.

    what a shame!

  • @RaquelFreire1 Toby has now left to persue other projects... Dante has taken over vocals with Derek Brown (guitar tech on Swagger tour) joining on bass....

  • I love this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

  • saw the guys years ago when they supported Def Lep on the "in the round....." tour in belfast , they played a shortened (20 min) set with a stand in drummer & Mark Rankin's seemingly boundless energy ensured they still managed to blow Lep' away !!!! Ps can someone please remind me what "gallus" means in scots (I humbly appologise for my ignorance , having come from an Ulster/Scots background !)

  • @mrk1nky:

    Gallus

    (ga·luss) Dialect, chiefly Scot ~adj.

    1. self-confident, daring, cheeky.

    2. stylish, impressive (esp. Glasgow “He’s pure gallus, by the way“).

    3. Orig. derogatory, meaning wild; a rascal; deserving to be hanged (from the gallows).

  • Flipping loved these guys, saw them live and they were awesome \m/....And still a top track..*Nods and Smiles* T~

  • A must have.....

  • Glasgow's finest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Quality! Look forward to seeing Gun supporting Lynyrd Skynyrd on their UK tour in March!

  • My uncle is friends with a guy that is friends with them, and he's always having Parties etc, and he always invites them, and also invite me and my family, And i always talk to them and stuff. My Uncle's friend is able to get me signed stuff anytime. ;D

    There amazing.

  • Really really good...

  • brilliant

  • Me gusta más la versión de LAUREN HARRIS

  • Lauren Harris suxxx!!!

  • I saw GUN in 1991, to Def Leopard at the NEC in Birmingham and was wiped out when they sang...so dropped the deaf leopard t-shirt and put on the GUN t-shirt along with my brother and pushed ourselves to the front and Mark Rankin sang infront of us pointing to us....been a fan ever since.......

The best to ever come out of Scotland...along with Del Amitri, Texas,Big Country, and Runrig.

  • Love this band, and my mates band is doing support for them in the limelight/spring and airbreak Belfast on 8th Nov 2009, its gonna be superb.

  • 20 years Iv been makin a living out of this.. no thanks to you.. and the tv too.. F**K YOU!! hehe gotta love Thunder!

  • and GUN....

  • No justice, gun were a great band and never got the recognition they deserved.

  • Bit like Thunder... Thunder are better known but they weren't given the credit/airplay they deserved either.. shame.. this track is great!

  • great comment never no how thunder werent such a bigger band love walked in should be known as a rock classic.....

  • this song is originally about growing up in Glasgow !! It was originally called "Steal your Tyres" as people used to go round stealing the tyres of cars.... trust me... I did !!

  • Gazman...I loved your comment, about, "Steal your Tyres"...couldn't stop laughing and the missses fell off her chair.

    But is it really true...

  • AMAZING!! Cant believe people are thinking this song is actually by Laren Harris!?? LOLWTF?!

  • The best song they ever did.

  • I bloody love this song. With these guys still around it proves the UK's music industry isn't dead yet.

  • Should've sent these guys to Eurovision.

  • These guys were too good for the Eurovision-watching audience!!!!

  • Even though two people have put a thumbs down to my origanal comment, I have to agree with you.

But consider this. Sending these guys to Eurovision would show those audiences what real music is.

  • brilliant. best rock band ever

els millors de tots els temps.

  • Best band of all times

  • arguably

  • I saw them too -fantastic..where did they go??

  • on tour now...

  • This band played the bomb, I seen them many time in the 90's they rocked.

  • I found these guys in 1990. Solid memories for me. I think that Bryan Adams found these guys.

  • If there is a better melodic hard rock song out there from the late 80's/early 90's then i'll eat my Y-fronts. Like a gritter, ballsier 'n better Bon Jovi. If they had been from the USA instead of Scotland they would have been massive. Where is the justice in that!?

  • I hear that....

  • Que recuerdos de juventud!! cuando no habia muchas bandas que hicieran tan buen rock'roll!!

  • Top song top bloody band!!!!!!

Loved Gun in the day - still love em!

  • Thats pretty cool

  • Nice song :)

  • I thought Lauren Harris´ Version was the original.. mistake =) this one is muuch better! =)

  • Great Band. Dream concert right now would be Nuclear Valdez opening for Gun.

  • awesome, the most "metallic" album for these guys. Thanks for a great couple of songs.

  • awsome.........great song

  • Having seen GUN at their very best over their formative years...I'm sorry but the songs apart - they don't do it for me any more. mark rankin was the voice of GUN, just as Phil Lynott was the voice of Thin Lizzy...sorry Toby mate...boy trying to fill a man's boots I'm afraid!

  • brilliant song.saw them live, as back up to, i think,Def Lepperd in Belfast in 1994,they were great.thanks for posting

  • in the round at the kings hall!!

  • thats right they were in the middle of the hall with the crowd all round.think I had just heard this before the concert and was delighted when they played it as I wasnt sure of what other songs they sang. But remember thinking what a good opening they had done.

  • They were better than Loverboy who had opened for Def Leppard the last time they played the Kings Hall

  • that what i called "real rock"

  • Gun forever and ever.

  • Cool Song!

  • they rock i've never heard of them until now and they rock i'm in central america i just stumbled on them and they are going down in my favorites rock on world and if they come to america i want to see them.

  • AwEsOme Video

    5*****

  • GUN is only GUN

    with RANKIN!!!

  • You should have listened to the recent radio clyde session, Toby did a great job and I think he fits in well. Different style to Mark but the songs rocked. I think you will see him develop as part of GUN when the guys write some new material... Mark is part of GUN's past (and a huge part) but Toby is part of GUN's future and I think he will do well.... Can't wait for Rockers on Friday the 11th of July!

  • Wise Words Miagii!!!!

  • see my reply further up this page.

  • Damn right dude!!!!

  • I agree. Mark Rankins voice makes this what it is.

As much as your man Toby does his thing, he's walking in a mighty big shadow.

  • GUN let their music do the talking.... Go and see them live and you'll see what I mean... Loud heavy and rocking, quality rock music at its best.

GUN live at Rockers, Midland street, Glasgow, July 11th 2008. Tickets £10 in advance. Warm up gig for main stage at T in the park the following day.

  • i was so lucky to c them life in the Duches of York in leeds and in Leeds uni too, back in the earlies 90´s

  • Brilliant song, great band much missed. Was lucky enough to see them live twice and they were fantastic. Highlight had to be at Aviemore when they did a set of their own stuff and then went off and put long haired wigs on and came back on to do a set of covers. Superb!

  • This song is right up there in their catalogue to fight for the right of best ever GUN song.......brilliant!!!!!

  • love this band.I am lucky enough to have there early albums and a 12inch version of better days on vinly...and it is a propper 12version...goes on for about 10 days or so...love it...

  • POWER MAN POWER

  • Great Band - playing Rockers in Glasgow soon - check them out

  • is that with the band blind alley? cuz gun broke up ages ago??

  • Jools and Dante played a gig as GUN with Al Thornton (original GUN drummer) and Toby Jeposon (ex little Angels) on guest vocals, at the Garage, Glasgow last January as part of the Rockradiofm charity bash.

  • I want to make love to the solo. Yeah i heard these guys on an ultimate rock album...liked em since.

  • Gun was definitely one of the most under-rated bands of all time. What a great rock sound they had. Thanks for posting one of my favorites. This must have been on HeadBangers Ball when it was good.

  • I got the 'Gallus' album a few months back cos I wanted to hear 'Welcome To The Real World' again. Then I heard this. Easily my favourite Gun song now, absolutely fuckin' awesome. Listen to it whilst driving, you WILL go faster!!!

  • fantastic!!!!!!!! look at his long hair hehehe
