  • astro manager isnt able to install it for some reason...

  • Lol what a load of hassle! just get an iphone and download the app and use skype.... simples!

  • @alnero25 wow, terrible advice, apple sucks!

  • For some reason it will not let me sign in...And I am using all of my right log in name and password. Any suggestions?

  • @adielrocks The only thing that I can think of is make sure that you have internet connection on your phone either 3g, 4g or wifi turned on when you are trying to log in, because if you don't than it wont let you log in. Otherwise try re-setting your password from your computer and try signing in with the new password.

    Hope this helped.

  • Is this application safe? seeing I have to disable my non-market application blocking.

  • @Danman88b It is very safe. I have installed it on many phones and have had no issues.

  • @diabeticHOWIE I installed it and I noticed that it makes my LED on the front flash conntinuously without stopping until I uninstall it. It just keeps blinking even when the app is not running. Is this happening with anyone else?

  • @Danman88b Hmm, weird, I haven't heard of this happening. I would first try re-starting your phone, then try re-downloading the file to your computer and re-installing it on your phone. Either your phone is just being weird and needs to be re-started or maybe you didn't fully download the file correctly and maybe there is a glitch.

    Hope this helped.

  • Great stuff! It works on my TB (not rooted)!!!!

  • Thank you! It helped so much, and works perfectly!

  • Thanks A lot. works just fine.

  • I have it installed on my phone but when i go to use the video chat part of it, it starts up and then shuts off immediately

  • @philliesgirl223 I'm assuming that you ARE doing this to a HTC Thunderbolt, and not a different Android phone. If not then that is your first problem. Second make sure that you are downloading the file from the link that I provided in my description because that one works for sure, there probably are others, but that one is for sure, and make sure you are not downloading the skype app from the market, because that doesn't include video chat. If it's still not working then try re-installing it

  • What android version/rom are u using on your phone?

  • @mz0k I'm using Android 2.2.1 but I also have my phone rooted as you can see (note: you don't need your phone rooted to install this, I have personally installed this on another Thunderbolt that is stock, not rooted). As for the custom ROM I am using: DAS BAMF Remix. I'm not sure what version of the ROM it is though. It's a pretty old one, I installed a couple weeks after it came out, and I know there have been some updates since, but I haven't updated yet.

  • You are the best bro!! Thanx!!! My input though.. i didnt have to use a pc at all!!! I dowloaded the file from my thunderbolt and click allow install of apps that are not from market and voila!!! I clickd disable after it was installed and am good!!!! Thanx again!!!

  • @texansfan1987 Cool, glad that it helped!

  • Can this work on the Incredible 2? It keeps saying Application not Installed

  • @dreamkat45 It doesn't work for the Incredible 2. Not this at least, you might try doing a google search to see if anyone has sucesfully installed it on a Incredible 2, or search forums, that's probably your best bet. Good luck!

  • Does the phone (Thunderbolt) have to be rooted to enable this SKYPE video chat??

  • @y2kappa No it doesn't. Mine is rooted, but it doesn't have to be, I have installed Skype on a few friends' Thunderbolts and theirs weren't rooted and worked perfectly.

  • Figured it out bro....thanks man this video helped me a bunch!

  • @WwilliamsIV Cool, glad it helped!

  • Dude I followed the steps but its not working? What do yu think I did wrong. Skype me. SirWillie215

  • @diabeticHOWIE Doesn't work on my Thunderbolt. I downloaded from your link. When I try to install it says Installing then fails with "Application not installed"

  • @diabeticHOWIE Doesn't work on my Thunderbolt. I downloaded from your link. When I try to install it says Installing then fails with "Application not installed" Also I'm running the das bamf gb rom.

  • i rooted my milestone and installed the market enabler, then got most of the apps opened ... i really wanted skype and i found it ...

  • @asangav Yeah iyou can probably see it and try to install it, and there is a Skype Mobile app in the market, BUT the Skype Mobile with video only works for the Thunderbolt, as far as I understand. If you can get it to work for the Milestone then sweet! But from what I have heard it only works for the Thunderbolt.

  • the installation does not work ! Milestone !

  • @asangav Because this is for the HTC Thunderbolt only....

  • thanks ... trying it now

  • Thanks you helped a lot!

  • nice fast pc!

  • @00235647 Pff you don't even know! You should see how great it is when I try and play a video game on it lol.

  • sucks that you need to wait 40 sec.
