well MINIs arent really meant for drag racing... put those two cars against each other in an autox or on a road course and the mini will own. not bashing the 325 or the MINI its just simply not the MINI's strength.

YOu do know that wasn't a crappy VW in the video right? It was a BMW 325i, which would have smoked the VW as well. MINIs aren't drag cars. Their Auto X cars and track cars.
the mini cooper s has one though. its how you tell the superchharged versions from the alternative normally aspirated ones...its to cool the top mount ic...which the mini despiratly needs as the inlet air is way too hot otherwise and then massive power loss. if this is supercharged it is way down becausde the charged air is too hot as no effectoive intercooling. my modded S woulsd destroy most factory beemers
All MCS' have hoodscoops.... also the pipes in the rear are in the center as opposed to being offset to the right, as well as having the different front lip etc... quite a big diff between and MCS and a plain MC
i have a mini cooper s and definetly is faster that 325i i win in a drag race to a 530i and you can check 325 0/100 and mini cooper s 0/100

you dont need a hoodscoop to have a supercharger. my tacoma dosnt have a hood scoop and its supercharged.
