Really good tuition Bro - can follow everything - very easy to see and hear and most importantly , understand , what you do - wish everyone did their lessons like this !!!
@ritzbitz1235 No, contrary to popular belief, he used 10s,11s and 12s depending on the condition of his fingers. He occasionally used super-glue to glue bits of callous on to his finger. Weird. But he was a legend.
@joshua9312 Actually, I knew a guy how had to do some emergency work on his guitar and was astounded by the thickness of the strings. He said "you could tow a truck with these". But SRV said later that he played differently with the heavy strings. I understand he had problems, necessitating the use of thinner strings.
Awesome man, picked it up in an hr or so. Very easy with your step by step instructions. Sounds just like it w/ Fender and Marshall g30r. Just gotta tweak the tone a little. Got any licks for Joe's blues deluxe?
Nice feel...any idea where one might find the Bonomassa DVD,,you got that lick from...tried to find it on Amazon and Joes sight ..but no luck, hoping you can help.
Most likely a light string. Heavy strings are so much harder to bend, but have a nicer tone. The lighter strings have weaker tone, but can really be ripped into. I think Bonamassa plays wither 10's or 11's
This chap has done a wonderful job in showing guitar players a wonderful lick from the best of all guitarist: Joe Bonamassa. If he will stick with this formatt, and show us the licks that Joe plays here and there, and do it nice and slow like he did here, he will end up with a large following on YOUTUBE, because every guitarist in his right mind, wants to know how to play every hot lethal lick that the Blues King Joe can play. Thanks pal for sharing this with the rest of us. This was great.
Thanks for all this lessons!! Your playing, feel, is amazing!!

Stevie Ray Vaughan played 13's and 14's...lol THAT is insane. Thats why he always played down a half step, so he could actually manage the strings.
