  • Blacks are genetically predisposed to liking chickens. Isn't that the Comedy by Dave Chappell?

  • The message in the Chicken commercial is that anyone, even those who have never tried the chicken like tribe people, love their chicken. The commercial doesn't seem to intend to insert anyone. They just don't know the stereotypes.

  • Okay, there's a thing. Korean people are quite innocent about the commercial. Racial stereotypes are "socially" constructed and in Korea, there is no such stereotypes about African Americans. They do not know whether blacks like chicken, watermelons, and whatever the food is. I am a Korean and until I came to the states 2 years ago, I had never heard such stereotypes in Korea.

  • lol u mad

  • Like there is no racism in the USA, Europe, Australia, etc... Nowadays in the US Blacks are even more racists. Lets not be hypocrite...

  • Tell the truth my black brother! I still think you should have criticized that racist Korean commercial the way Malcolm X would have done it.

  • I'm korean and very shame on those that made that commercial sorry

  • @dhksrksalem Gamsamnida, I am on your side.

  • go fuck yourself retard.

  • HMMmmm... let's see a video BLOG about YOUNG JEEZY's video of "AMAZING", or how about black comics on white people. because if a white comic was to stand up on stage and preach about black stereotypes, it's considered racist.

education? how can you even judge their education. at least these countries have schools, while the US is shutting down schools and education programs to open up prisons.

it's almost as absurd as using the word NIGGA freely, but when others use it, it's a NO NO!

  • dude whats that your door bell at end lol ?

  • jesus u nig wad. gtfo.

  • Dude, believe me no one in Asia knows about the US stereotype and the director of the commercial probably didn't even realize this could be viewed as 'racist'. It is largely due to different cultural and historical background. You can ask Asian people around you to verify my point. Most non-US born Asians won't consider this commercial to be racist or making fun of black people at all.

  • @newshhh imo it has NOTHING to do with americans or KFC and Southern friend chincken u can go to Kychon in the US and actually TRY it (if u live in the US) NOTHING like KFC and Kyochon has no affiliation with KFC or KKK or cernal sanders or black people. as soon as americans see a black person in a Cf or on tv in different perspective, they point and say Racist. aalso the setting ahs nothing to do with africans or afro americans it looks like mmore fiji, new guine style since when africa

  • @TheRivalConcept has palm trees?

  • really reaching here...koreans actually have no clue about black's association with fried chicken, watermelon, grape drink, etc... stop looking for excuses... it's more a deserted island / natives concept for the commercial.

  • thank you dr.king, look, everyone needs to get a sense of humor, I laugh when black comedians make fun of whites, you americans are so racially minded.

  • I don't think it's funny chicken is kinda degradeing but i really don't care cuase black pl are extremlly raciest and just cover it up with bitching so how do you like it

  • How did you find it offence? Korean people do not know this sterotype and Korean people are way more educated then Americans

  • hey guess what, just because we have interaction with other cultures, doesnt mean we have to be pc.i do't have to like anyone else just because they are black. get over it, it is a commercial in another country. you sound like you live in san fran. i bet you don't ever say how offensive black people are to others, like the black panthers, or naacp, thats is why you are a hypocrate. grow some thick skin and stop crying "we need more education!" like that will make people think differently.

  • Dude i'm Korean it not racist you only think that cause your in America Koreans in korea don't see the same way as we do so go getting all offend cause it not them trying to be racist and if you can't stand it do watch video like that anymore you know how many people make fun of Asian and we don't go crying saying omg your racist!!! we would think its hella funny =] its way of life to make fun of each just learn to laugh out loud i know i do when it happens

  • nigga you are retarded...nobody knows black people like friend chicken except in America. Outside of Canada and American no one consider will consider that racist. I am asian, i wouldn;t get all upset and anal if i saw a commercial of a asian dude crashing his car.

  • did you know africa is still there? return to your roots and stop crying about everything... part of the fun of making fun is when the cry baby being made fun (of), whines about it...

  • If I am to be honest, I must say that in my opinion there was not anything racist. Sooner ignorance, stupidity ... Probably someone does not think that this ad may offend. Maybe I say this because I am a white girl from Europe and I have not come across on a daily basis from racism directed toward me. But I can understand that someone (including you) might feel resentful. I also do not laugh from this ad. But it seems to me that you should not worry anyone's stupidity;)

  • first off, that was funny as fuck. i love that ad.

secondly do you think that in Korea or Australia they have the same stereotypes?

no they do not, stop crying no one really is going out of there way to hurt anyone.

if you impose your own cultural prejudice upon others it will look wonky.

i really don't see the problem, even if it was meant to be offensive, it doesn't do a very good job of it, the black people are happy and fun loving in the ads.

  • to be honest... its not even racist...

korea and japan people dont even know the sterotypes we have here in america so its not really racist... sure its racist if ur looking at it from an american view... but if u were a black person in korea u wouldnt see it as racist... cuz its not an issue there. cuz everyone loves chicken... would u have felt better if a tribe was white?? or an asian tribe?point of the commerical was the man was going to be eaten and kfc is filling thats it...

  • Life is too short for all this bullshit, you lame ass muthafuckaz, I'm black and don't give a fuck about this kfc commercial shit, Not offended at all. I wish I could line every one of you in a row and just slap the shit out of you, It's fuckin humor. funny some shit to laugh about, and not take every single thing you feel offended about to heart!!!

  • hey

i'm actually a korean and i saw the commercial and i thought it was something that should never have been made and on behalf of the people who made it, i just wanted to say sorry

i'm sure they didn't mean to offend you but i don't blame you if you feel offended because i know i wouldn't be happy if someone made fun of me just because i'm a korean person

  • Not Racist.

    Sorry.

Think of it this way: the Korean people don't have the steotpye of black people eating chicken. There are few if any black people there. It's all of YOU giving it the racist spin because you assume that everything is deliberately a biggoted remark.

  • @XXLSexy2k7 well said

You want to know who is racist?

    watch?v=S_tQ72NMncU

This racist black guy who overheard this white guy talking about getting his shoes shined and read some dumb ass racism into it.

  • Koreans love to eat fried chicken and watermelon. It's funny.

  • @XXLSexy2k7 isnt the steriotype of black ppl eathing fried chicken an african american thing? not a "black" thing

  • do a video about rappers referring to getting high as getting "chinky eyed" you fucking common hypocrite

oh, and quit your whining . . . shit was really funny and really entertaining

  • @finejustgivemeaname Yeah the "black" people who use the term makes ME a hypocrite. NICE work! haha

  • Just saying, you are quick to jump on the bandwagon over this innocent advert, but I don't see you going out of your way to be original, individualistic and integral enough to create a criticism of black racism against, latino(a)s, women, asians, and whites.

  • @tahirjahi You need more sense of humor. Not racist commercial at all. If you want interact with other culture you should open your mind. Your perspective of true racism as been contaminated by your society and culture.

  • @tahirjahi This is my theory on what it takes one group to be considered a "minority" even if they're a majority group (like women). If the actions of one member with this "minority trait" (eg, dark skin) acts in a certain way and members of the majority group interpret that behaviour as being common amongst all members with this trait. That's how we come up with douches who say that since a few individual rappers say racist shit, all black people are to blame for that. Guh...

  • @tahirjahi i think his point was how can u judge other races (koreans) in this case when ur own people do the same thing.

  • This video is just a guy rambling on and on about a commercial, show it to us!

  • Hey, first of all it's not even a KFC commercial. If you look closely, it says Kyochon in the end: it's a totally different brand. Secondly, there's no hate for black people in it, is there?

  • lol i,ve seen the commercial and i don,t really think it is racism there ~ although i do agree asians in general need more exposure to black people and black cultures :)

  • What's so bad about black people liking chiken? Back then in the day, a good meal was chicken and patatos. So what if they just made a video of black people liking KFC??? I LOVE IT.

  • it wasnt meant to be racist, theres just a lot of comedy movies/children cartoon tv shows in korea that include a lot of those people with markings on their faces with hats, straw skirts, and dark skin (i dont know what they are called..) dont take it the wrong way. i dont think those people are meant to be african american. i for one didnt know that there was a stereotypic thing going around that african american people like chicken. and i dont think anyone in korea knows that either^^

  • black people love fride chiken. im 1/4 black and 1?4 rica. that dosent afect me. is homor. if crhis rock would have done it you would have been laphing ur ass of.

  • @MrMega555 i hate typing.

  • You are just mad because you blew all of your re-appropriation money on Menthols and baby back ribs.

  • Haha I love Trolls.

    I know right...... Except I'm a vegetarian.

  • I like the fact that he's saying this as he's wearing a Michael Richard's shirt.

  • I know right....it's called not taking yourself seriously :P

  • SUCKS

  • Get over yourself.

You do realise there are still people alive who were cannibals in their youth? There are many living head-hunters in New Guinea. These aren't african american's either.

As for the aussie one, well we don't have african americans here. While our cricket teams don't wear team colours.

Grow the fuck up and get over the chip on your shoulder.

  • Although you talk about a global economy Koreans have had very little interaction with black ppl. Almost all of the ppl I know in Korea have not talked to a black person for their entire lives. This is why our view is so skewed and stereotypes exist.

As for myself I've encountered so many stereotypes about Koreans but who am I to judge others right? I have my own stereotypes.

I hope that ppl(inc. myself) will start to open up to the world a lil bit more and judge ppl less by their race.

  • Why is this racist. This is from BBC news "The United Nations Security Council has strongly condemned massacres and human rights violations, including cannibalism, by rebels in the Democratic Republic of Congo." Not to mention the cannibalism that is going on in Central Africa. If black people still practice cannibalism how is this racist? Fucking savages.

  • lol micheal richard aka kramer on your shirt!

  • the commercial isnt kfc people its a korean fast food company that isnt kfc. but whatever its people wanting to bang on kfc and say they are offensive without realizing hey other companies can be racist.

  • Well you are the black person I have heard that was offended wich is ok but I object to white Americans telling people what to be offended by and do they realise that by forcing the ads off the air and onto the Internet they have made sure more people actually see these ads

  • let's not take it too seriously. I think if we put it in the center of our debate, then we acknowledge the fact that it is/is not racist.

we should think about how to be kind to the people around ourselves, no matter if it's a neighbor, family, friend, or even a stranger passing by the sidewalk. Let's divert our focus onto something more important.

  • not racist at all you guys in ther states cant take a joke

  • no such thing as a racist joke.

  • I was speechless after ive seen it.

    I was like WOW!!

  • lol
