these are all rating and do not hold true to the actual horsepower and torque that a vehicle will put down...google these factory ratings and then review their dyno numbers...u will be suprised.

you might need to edit your discription a little bit because not only do you not have 350 hp, he doesnt have 270 hp. Now im a chevy man so I will not say what a stock ram puts down from the factory but from my experience...a stock 5.7 liter with just CAI is not ganna put 350 to the wheels...as for him, his truck from the factory will put down around 230...270 is extreme wishful thinking.....oh yea and the SS truck is no heavier than a stock extended cab both around 5200 lbs.

@speeddemon0712 love the truck btw and i know it was comments from two years ago but engines you read about rated at whatever horse power....your truck rated 345, mines rated at 390 but thats at the crank and if you want to figure out a rough estimate at the rear wheels take about 20% off

An SS is REALLY heavy... I don't think you quite know how quick a regular cab hemi is...

In a manner of speaking, I'd say so... at least it'd be more balanced (if not for the weight issue). That's my one complaint of the SS... it was just too heavy and they didn't offer a regular cab version (that I was aware of). Pretty truck though. :) For a chevy I mean... (I own a Ram, of course... heh.)

i really get a kick out of watching the Dodge hemi vs chevy clips on here..... the dodge usually spanks the chevy stock for stock... but then you still have the die-hard chevy fans writting comments like "CHEVY ROCKS or THAT CHEVY STILL HAS SOME BALLS! " Clearly seeing that the chevy gets its ass handed to it every time!! Way to GET ER DONE DODGE!!!!

i programed it with a hypertech and a performance airfilter my dad has an 01 ram with 5.9 with k and n airfilter with 60,000 and my truck is faster
