It also means that whatever happened on 9/11, whatever happened with al-quada, was not from muslim people. The minute Muslim people wave goodbye to peace, you may as well not consider them muslim any more. Its why the word "radical" is used. Its easy for you to quote a peacfull verse from the early parts of the quran while, by following the principle of taqiyya neglecting to mention the fact that it has been offically abrogated by later more violent verses. Acording to the quran, the world will be at peace only when islam and sharia reign in every country! Dont quoye the final sermon because it mentions nothing about non muslims only peace with non arabs!

@flunkie91 An Arabic word has one root. The root of the word Islam is al-silm which means "submission" or "surrender". There is no disagreement about this among islamic scholars. al-slim does not mean the same thing as al-salaam (peace), otherwise they would be the same word.

What great breakthroughs have happened in the muslim world in the last 500 years? Today 350 million muslims are illiterate and can't even spell the word algebra or add 2 + 2 on paper. What you perhaps are thinking of comes later, through men who used his name to accomplish such organizations. At what point do philosophers such as Plato and the rest become cult leaders?
