  • have you tried copic markers on tracing paper? :D pls teach me techniques to arrive on a solid color... there were so many lines when i color... cant understand why :(

  • @ziyidas No, I haven't tried tracing paper, because I don't trace. For smooth colour, watch my video called "How I colour with Copics"

  • @ziyidas I think a reason why you have brust strikes is probably because your not going fast enough to where the ink can dry evenly. Try going in circles and make sure not to stray from an area you are still not done coloring because thats also how you get brush strokes too. And try to go fast but not so fast that it looks sloppy ;3

  • is bristol paper okay for copic markers?

  • @angelkittycat101 You should use thinner paper, or else it will suck up a ton of ink and your markers will dry out before you know it.

  • @zkittyz Ok, thank you so much, I was about to buy some bristol paper but i didn't thank god i didn't. A thousand thanks yous!! ( ><)))

  • @angelkittycat101 get bleedproof paper, it works the best, it doesnt absorb the ink too much and you can use the blender to fade out the colours nicer.

  • @Chiraem ok, thank you so much!

  • Thank you! Your a life saver!

  • If you have the refill for the colourless blender you can make a cool textured-looking background by sprinkling the ink lightly around the paper. Then adding more colour and sprinkling again. Like if you use like yellowy and earthy tones and use this method you can get a sort of aged look.

  • Hey, about the paper, is it really worth it to go out and specifically buy marker paper? Because honestly, I'm a little broke and can't afford to pay for marker paper. Is it okay to just use printer paper? Please let me know! :)

  • @DubbleBubble303 I think it's worth it, but regular printer paper works just fine too. I used to use it all the time. The colours just aren't as bright and you have to be more careful with ink bleeding outside the lines.

  • @zkittyz Okay. I guess I'll consider the marker paper then. Thanks so much! :)

  • @DubbleBubble303 Well I've never tried it myself, but if another video proves it works, I would trust them! Really, both are alcohols. Copic ink is 77% ethanol whereas rubbing alcohol is 70% isopropanol (at least mine is.)

  • opps i mean blender not lender

  • um i read some were instead of colourless lender u can use rubbing alcohol for like under water images since im on a buget cheaper alternatives would be better

  • Are you left handed? ;)

  • Lol, I love how you 'said' that it can be used as a desktop stain remover.

  • thank you it was very helpful : )

  • I need a specific type of paper???? or , can I use the markers in all type of paper?

  • @SakiSakai Well don't go using watercolour paper or anything weird like that. Use marker paper or cardstock. Or regular computer paper.

  • @SakiSakai ho thanks I will the test

  • Great to Highlight Colors And Shadows

  • Hello, I got these today for my 16th, can you recommend me some paper for blending on, does it also have to be at a relative gsm.?

  • COOOL

  • Thanks i was wondering about that marker.

Also is there a diffrents between promarkers and copic markers?Cause i have pro markers and i hope they work just the same.=_=

  • Why the heck am I watching videos still i need o study xD

  • so happy! :3 thx

    your always will be subscriber-Jadecool312

  • I noticed that the tip of the blender gets stained- does the stain transfer? (ex: you use the blended on top of blue, and the tip of the blender stains blue- when you use the blender on a diff color or a lighter color like yellow, will the blue rub off onto the yellow?)

  • @XpurplepeopleeaterXX Yeah it does transfer colour initially but after that, the ink will not rub off even if the tip is still stained. I colour on a piece of scrap paper until the ink comes out clear before using it on a new colour.

  • @zkittyz ok thanks (: and I have another question (cuz im obnoxiously curious haha). how old were you when you first started using/buying copics?

  • @XpurplepeopleeaterXX 18 I think

  • @SuperPennypup you dont. The lowest ur gonna get it on ebay and even that's conna cost u a few pretty pennies... and a couple ugly ones, too

  • How do you get so much copic markers without spending hundreds of dollars?

  • I have a question: Why do some people use the colorless blender before the copics? And do you recommend it? ;D Thanks.

  • thanks so much for your tutorial

  • You can actually blend with colorless Blender pretty well with practise.

By apllying blender before you add the second color really helps, especially when blending dark and light colors together. When trying to blend equally dark markers, though, that "non-blending" usually happens if you aren't pro enough. Sadly I am not :'D

  • Hi great vid I love when r u going to upload another one?

  • @drawingsushi Today :)

  • I always found it annoying how the colorless blender does that. It's the same with prisma colorless blender. This video is really helpful though. I never thought of using it to get rid of unwanted color outside the lines. :D

  • I like your fingers ♥__♥ I also like your voice can you sing in your next video :D!? Pretty please :3?

  • @zelmanclocklove11 I can't sing :)

  • :O ohh so you can put it down first -ahaha i really wasnt sure how to use it. xD As im new to it, thanks for posting this!

For future tutorial maybe you could post, different ways to colour eyes :O if you havent already >w<

  • I've been wondering about that marker for some time... Thanks! :D

  • yesss! the tutorial that no one has, but you, is finally here xP thanks!

  • I love using the colorless blender with prismacolor pencils, it makes a mess of color but if you're going for that sorta style I highly recommend getting one just to mess around with, its very fun.

  • cool, never thought of using it as a base...thanks

  • Hey ZkittyZ,

You are awesome and I hope you know that. Thank you for uploading this! ;D

  • :D my friend stained a school table with some different markers and were close to a detention a few days ago. Luckily I had my blender with me :D

  • Wow, thanks so much for this! I have the Colorless Blender, and had no idea it could do all that. I rarely use it for blending, so this really helps! Thanks! :D

  • I ordered Copic Markers yesterday. Just wondering, does it take one week to receive it?

  • @2iRJessi Depends where they are being shipped from, where you live, and what day of the week you ordered it. The weekend is going to slow things down a bit since there is no service on weekends.

  • @zkittyz Oh, thanks for clearing that up. :)

  • @zkittyz If I lived in California how long would it take? I bought them on Friday ><

  • @2iRJessi Well if you bought it from otakufuel, you should get it soon since they are in california. But Friday is not a very good day to order since they probably didn't get to your order till monday, since you ordered right before the weekend. I don't work for them, so it's impossible to say how long it will take. Just be patient.

  • Oh wow that's a nice little trick to get the stains off of my table lmfao. Thanks for sharing that :)

  • how many colors are in copic i need help and can you tell me how you make your speed drawing videos that well help me big time if you can Thanks

  • @sojorge123 There are 334 sketch colours as of now, but there are 12 new ones coming out in March, so that will make 346 colours. To speed up the video, I use the "speed up double" video effect in windows movie maker.

  • @zkittyz Thanks

  • 1:11

    me: HI!!! MR. WORDS :DDD

  • When you colored in the circle i thought at first there was going to be a hidden message XD helpful video !

  • Very nice tutorial... Thumbs Up! :D

I think I might buy that awesome things (Copic) in the later future when I got a job... cuz it extremely expensive right now... Lolz :)

  • LOL YAY NEW VID :D

    Love it as always

  • @lndigoLight Thanks! I feel like I should have waited a bit to upload this one since I just uploaded one 2 days ago, but I have another copic speed drawing vid that I really really wanna upload. But I'm trying to space out my videos at least a little bit, and it's been a few videos since I made a tutorial, so I had to upload this one instead of the copic drawing! I'm just really excited because the picture turned out so well and it's my favourite drawing so far!

  • I think it's so cool how you found other uses for it.

  • 2 comment! Whooo hooooo

  • lol at first whenever you were coloring with the colorless blender and the text started to show up I thought "OMG MAGIC PAPER! I WANT THAT!" xD And then I saw the caption XD ROFL

  • @PandaLuver975 Haha! Magic paper would be sweet!!!
