I really like the idea of the performance, but I don't like the direct correlation that you (or anyone) makes between the colors and the emotions. I feel like attributing an emotion to a color is just a too direct and simple metaphore; there is no nuance.

i like the thought into it, each emotion with a color.

I would have preferred if you just painted each color over your whole face but this works.

i think this worked well as just a performance..but not as a video with edits. the edits and music are distracting to the actual meaning, they seem pointless.

but good job anywhosits. sorry for the whole analysis.. im in art school..i'll do that..

I think it was such a great idea. i would have prefer a better angle and more fluorescent light so the colors were more vibrant. Yet... the concept was awesome. the fact that you painted al your visible body black means that the idea is complete.

p.d. love the music too... ramsteins for anger and lacuna coil (set mefree...) for the sad part... great.

Did you read what I wrote on the right? It explains it all! Besides our task was to do a performance for art class, and since my topic was relationships over our 2 years IB course it had to do something with a relationship and I only used my own relationship as an example. What more do you wanna know? Just ask.

Absolutely Beautiful. I am an artist as well...And the first time I saw your performance I was in the Anger Stage...and did not think I would make it to Black...I did. I used your art piece as inspiration and painted my body to surrender all my old feelings and then lay down on a canvas...and it was empowering. Thank you!
