BTW i am going into the military after i get my masters degree, and become a 2nd Lieutenant Officer for the Army National Guard straight out of college that way if i dislike it then back to school and on to my Criminal Justice Degree. Army National Guard almost never goes into combat just helps Americans and helps with the border and national security.

A better comparison would be the Rangers and Force Recon to the Royal Marines. Because technically they're not special forces. They're elite units. And they're training is in the same ball park than regular U.S. marines.
