It was not hard to notice the Editing towards the End of the Video. When we approach 1:20 we can clearly hear a clear pause (notice the sound of his voice) as we now hear a relaxed Malcolm to a rather higher pitched Malcolm. The authenticity of the video makes me feel rather doubtful and for the motive it sure doesn't change our feelings of his betrayal towards The Honorable Elijah Muhammad.

I edited this from an hour long recording of Malcolm going over many topics such as his friction with the family of Elijah Muhammad, some of the other labors in the NOI, the women who claimed Elijah Muhammad was the father of their children and his apology. @onepon Whatever the case with this tape, the fact is that he did indeed write a letter to Honorable Elijah Muhammad AFTER leaving the NOI in which he explained that the reason he left was to better expedite Elijah's program, something he could not do within the organization because of the corruption of certain members. It was not hard to notice the Editing towards the End of the Video. When we approach 1:20 we can clearly hear a clear pause (notice the sound of his voice) as we now hear a relaxed Malcolm to a rather higher pitched Malcolm. The authenticity of the video makes me feel rather doubtful and for the motive it sure doesn't change our feelings of his betrayal towards The Honorable Elijah Muhammad.

Also at that point, Malcolm X had already begun educating himself due to the influence of a prisoner named Bembry, again, not Elijah. Malcolm X didn't leave prison until 1953, only then did he finally meet Elijah, 5 entire years after being introduced to Islam. Elijah is just a liar and an adulterer.

Malcolm X, like so many others were nobodies until they were taught by TMH Elijah Muhammad. Sounds a lot like it's spliced together with some other audio.
After 1:20 the timber of El Hajj MS's voice is unlike it is earlier. Furthermore, he says he prays to "Allah" without the mention of anyone.
For him to double back and mention Master Fard and the teachings of the Hon. Elijah Muhammad don't sound like they'd fit with his statements before the 1:20 mark.

His secretary said Malcolm had planned to reconcile with Elijah Muhammad at the time of his death but was killed before he could make it official. I have no clue if this is true or not.

There is hearsay evidence that Elijah Muhammad wanted to move his organization towards mainstream orthodox Islam, and that he specifically expected Warith Deen to do it. There is also hearsay evidence-- on the authority of Warith Deen, actually-- that Master Wallace Farad Muhammad was still alive in the 90's, still living in America, and that he approved of Imam Warith's movement and direction.

@onepon Whatever the case with this tape, the fact is that he did indeed write a letter to Honorable Elijah Muhammad AFTER leaving the NOI in which he explained that the reason he left was to better expedite Elijah's program, something he could not do within the organization because of the corruption of certain members. Point is, he had no conflict with Elijah, rather his conflict was with certain leaders in Harlem who put pressure on him

In the book: "Message to the Black man" Elijah M dedicated 11 pages to laying an economic blue print to teach black people how to build up their own economy and recycle black dollars.
Perhaps you can show us a comparison to the work of Garvey and prove Elijah borrowed from him?

@infox1000 The system of slavery has been around since the days of Abraham. Slavery in the Arab and African world was not based on skin color or economics. In order to become a slave you were either a prisoner of war, you owed a debt or you broke some type of tribal law.
Slavery was not based on brutal torture, burnings at the stake, killing pregnant women, separating families, the stripping of language, sexual perversion and other acts of sedition.

In the bible Genesis 15:13 it is prophesied that Abraham's seed would be afflicted for 400 years in a land that is not theirs. Who besides the black man of America fits this description? In Matthew 24:27 we are taught that God would come from the East to the West. What is significant about the West?

The Haitians knew and maintained various aspects of African culture from the food they ate, dance and a little bit of the language. The parents of the black man of America were killed cutting off any link to Africa. Instead of expressing your personal view why don’t you reference a book to support your claim?

@infox1000 I cannot speak for the Muslims in Africa and their involvement in slavery. You would have to take that up with them.
The Muslims were not responsible for our upbringing in America and the torture we went through. Slavery in Africa and the Middle East did not involve stripping people of their language or insane torture. If you were slave in Africa it was because you were either a prisoner of war or broke some type of tribal law. Africans did not go around enslaving people randomly.

@infox1000 Haitians and Africans did not go through lynching’s, having their pregnant women slaughtered in cold blood with their babies stomped in the mud or having their children taken out of their hands to be raised as chattel.
It has been only 50 to 60 years that black people were even allowed to participate in the economic structure of the country just to make a living.
America being the richest country on the planet has nothing to do with black people as a whole. Most of us are poor.

@infox1000 Do not look at the plight of black people through the lens of what you see in 2011.
Haitians and Africans were not stripped of their roots and language. Haitians and Africans experienced some form of independence but did nothing with it. Haitians and Africans chose to allow Europeans and others to come in and corrupt their politics and way of life. The black man in America lived in chains for 350 years under the worst brutality known to man and another 100 years of Jim Crowism.

If God did not want the Israelites to integrate with their oppressors in Egypt, why would he want the black man to unite with oppressor in America?
Those who submitted to Gods Messenger did not suffer those types of aggressions because Elijah Muhammad taught us to stay away from socializing with white people. He taught us to unite with our own kind.

@infox1000 There were thousands of believers prior to Malcolm. It took some time to get them all registered and Temples set up in their cities. Back in those days the believers use to meet up at each other’s homes to study and go over things.
Malcolm had more than Elijah to start up his own thing. Elijah Muhammad built up the NOI during the Jim Crow era and the Depression. Malcolm and his followers tried very hard to solicit followers back then but no one wanted to join with him.

@infox1000 There is not one African dialect that does not have some type of Arabic in it.
Islam is the true religion of the black man through its meaning. The name Islam did not exist prior to Muhammad PBUH. All of the prophets promoted the practice of submitting to God but they did not put a title on it.
Nowhere in the bible will we find the prophets naming the religion of God. Submitting to the will of God is the black man’s nature and instinct.
Black people lived in Arabia prior to Africa.

@infox1000 Whose science are you quoting? It surely is not the Egyptians, Chaldeans or Arabians of ancient past. What you are really saying without knowing it is that you need the white man’s seal of approval. Whatever he and his pseudo scientist say dictates what’s right or wrong without question.

The black man is the fulfillment of Abraham's seed mentioned in Genesis 15:13. When the black man of America is put on top is when the world will be at peace. @infox1000 This is like asking why did God send Abraham to Arabia, Moses to Egypt, Jesus to Palestine and Muhammad to Arabia instead of the whole planet. In the Quran 10:47 we are taught every nation receives a Messenger.
Black people in Africa had Islam, their language and culture but yet the white man was still able to deceive them and exploit them on their own land. Africans especially in the Islamic territories were well aware of the white man’s tricks so they should know better.

@infox1000 From 1931 to 1952 Elijah Muhammad, his wife and the laborers worked day and night to build up the NOI long before Malcolm.
There were thousands of members and more people lining up to join the NOI long before the name Malcolm was ever known.
If Malcolm was this great man why didn't most of the people follow him when he left the NOI? Malcolm barely had enough followers to fill the Theresa Hotel in New York.
The ranks of the NOI grew to even greater heights after Malcolm's departure.

@infox1000 The NOI was well established long before Malcolm. Up and down the East Coast, The Midwest and the South the name Elijah Muhammad and the NOI was well received long before Malcolm was ever known.
Malcolm was dispatched to areas where Elijah Muhammad and the laborers already created a following. The Temples in these areas were established at the instruction of Elijah Muhammad.
How do you think the NOI was able to take care of its members like Malcolm fresh out of jail with nothing?

The foolish idea of voluntarily putting our young men, women and children in harm’s way was Martin Luther King’s strategy. God will not help those who voluntarily put themselves in danger at the feet of their enemies.
Elijah Muhammad warned King about this type of behavior but he refused to listen because he loved white people so much.

Where is it written of when the great Pyramids were built and how they did it? Where is it written in history of how those great buildings with advance precision were erected at Puma Punku? Google image it. Where is it written in history of how the Indians got to America?

Elijah Muhammad knew the white man would never give us our own land but he promoted the idea to show us that even after 400 years of blood, sweat and tears the white men would never give us justice.
Why would Elijah Muhammad go out of his way to help those who not only reject him but make mockery? God help those who help themselves.

@infox1000 Each Messenger was rejected by those who claimed to follow the prior Prophet. Islam was not invented by the Arabs. Islam is the natural religion of God because of its meaning: "entire submission to the will of God".
None of the prophets ever came on the scene professing a religion by name except for Prophet Muhammad. The planet has always been filled with people who were in submission to the will of God. There are no scriptures in the bible professing the name of Gods religion

Allah sends a Warner and then he judges that nation based on their reaction to that Warner. Elijah gave us a solution to the race problem which is separation. Black people do not want separation so now God must step in and judge us for our choice of uniting with our open enemies.

Malcolm was lucky to have someone like Elijah put a roof over his head, food in his stomach and a car to drive fresh out of prison. It speaks more to the character of Elijah to recognize the talents of Malcolm when no one else did.
Keep in mind that Elijah traveled up and down the East coast, the Midwest and the South long before Malcolm. The seed was already planted before Malcolm was ever known.

Those in the NOI reaped the benefits of Elijah's leadership because they chose to follow him. Those who ignored Elijah suffered for their rebellion.

Black people had been reared and raised by white people for 400 years. Let’s say Garvey would have succeeded.
How long do you think Africans would have put up with the bad habits we picked up from white people?

Elijah Muhammad was the first to create trade among the nations of Africa for the benefit of black people in America. Elijah even created trade among the Japanese and some Arabs states.
You seem to ignore all of the business and wealth Elijah established because of your love for Malcolm.

@infox1000 Marcus Garvey had some great ideas but unfortunately his movement did not last long because of internal corruption by way of the FBI.
The idea of doing for self and kind was something most people practice except for black people. We were more focus on trying to hold hands with white people, force them to allow us to live in their neighborhoods and force them to integrate us into their schools.
Elijah came to do away with that silly thinking by teaching the black man to do for self.
