@namybot haha. not a mustang. sound performance built a 1520rwhp supra. it was tested on a mustang dyno, which is a company or brand of dynos or something. known to be the most accurate because it makes the dyno wheel or whatever harder to spin depending on the weight of the car and stuff. dyno jet has a free spinning wheel. so gives you the highest whp numbers. but i agree that supras make mustangs look like ponies. but i like ponies so its okay.

@cante199 It can't, they have to try it again. It can be tuned correctly though. A friend of mine worked on a 300zx that blew out drag slicks on the dyno. They never knew how much power it made on race full because it was still building boost when the tires popped and plastered rubber to the dyno.

@supra1722 Ahh got you. If Stacey takes SWs old Supra back to Texas I'm sure it'll break 250mph if it holds together though doubt we'll see that happen sadly. Believe this still is the fastest Supra at Texas at 247mph isn't it? Rays GT that ran 266mph put down high 1900rwhp. That much power in a car that aerodynamic and that much grip can't help but run fast. Believe the problem with Supras is indeed grip one and getting that 2J to hold together pushing that much power at such a high rpm

@iPROFITDON yes i was hoping so... but SW sold it to a guy named Rex which i found out from a friend and he changed the blown 91mm to and 84mm... made 14xxhp on the dyno... not sure if it was allboost.. yes i think the supra's second biggest problem is aerodynamics.. wasnt built for this.. no solution to that really... unless you take drastic measures.. btw Rex has a dyno of the SW supra i can PM u the link :)... it is the fasest supra but no if you include this car's practice run

Last I saw it had quite a few aerodynamic upgrades done to it right before SW ran off the track twice at the mile and sold it. Hell yea I'd like to see that beast on the dyno though. The Supras aero is amazing for the year. It slips through the air with less drag than a Corvette.

@Electrifyliak its just as hard to go fast in a mile as it is in a 1/4 mile. you need a balance of downforce, and a streamlined body. traction still plays a major role, ESPECIALLY the weather conditions..... even a 10mph headwind can reduce your top speed by as much as 30mph. and you need to relearn how to use a parachute to slow the car down

@Electrifyliak No, thats more of a misconception than anything, and if a supra makes 1000+hp and it doesnt make a 10second time, then its the lack of a driver mod and the OTHER necessary parts to run fast times in a 1/4 mile..... it only takes about 600hp for a Supra to run solid 10's in the 1/4 with the right. Mine was one of them before mine made 1300hp and running high 8s.

Plus, most supra's are built to be highway killers, their long tranny ratio and long final drive are indicative of that

Supra's can eat up quarter miles but then with a re-tune and adjustments to the boost and suspension it can drive pretty good on circuits. Its just a more complete car.
